The ground game did the majority of the damage for the Tuttle offense and a young sophomore had a breakout performance. 2025 running back [player_tooltip player_id='215570' first='Brady' last='McAdoo'] would finish with 140 yards and six touchdowns on 17 carries and was also a major threat in the return game. We've been high on McAdoo's potential since last season and seeing him this offseason. But like McAdoo, Harper could not be stopped and had a major impact on the game in several areas. First off, he caught 20 passes on the night which is an absurd number. He would finish with 135 yards and two touchdowns. He also took a kick back 80 yards for his third touchdown on the night. The Patriots went on the road to face off with 4A's Poteau in a battle between top five teams. Metro would steal a 35-31 win after scoring the game-winning touchdown with 8 seconds left. Nauman had a great connection going with QB [player_tooltip player_id='38790' first='Kirk' last='Francis'] as he would finish with 12 catches for 222 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The Cushing star has been one of the top players in the state over the last few years and he was at it again as they knocked off Perkins-Tryon on Friday to improve to 2-0 on the season. Crooks caught ten passes for just over 200 yards and three touchdowns. He also had nearly ten tackles, an interception and he forced a fumble on the defensive side of the ball. Woods hurt Pawhuska the most with the big play in the passing and running game. This is a Southeast team that has legitimate weapons on the offensive side of the ball. The Madill offense could not be stopped as the majority of damage was done early on in the game as they rolled to an easy win.
