One of the best two-way players in Class 6A-1 is Edmond Memorial senior Kiefer Mullins Kiefer Mullins 6'0" | 195 lbs | LB Edmond Memorial | 2023 State OK . The Bulldogs are back into the playoffs for the first time in nearly a decade. The combination of an experienced senior class with some very talented underclassmen has led the Bulldogs back to the postseason. Mullins is one of the best linebacker prospects in the state’s 2023 class. But in addition to being a tackling machine on defense, Mullins is also a strong running back, who has produced in a big way, especially in short yardage situations. Edmond Memorial plays the marquee first round game in 6A-1 as the Bulldogs will host Enid on Friday night.

Mullins is a hard-hitting linebacker that we also think could move back and play a little safety in the right scheme. Either way, we think that Mullins has the size, athleticism and production to be an impact player at the next level.

rnEdmond Memorial scored their first win of the season when they knocked off rival Edmond North on Friday night. The Bulldogs were led by senior running back and linebacker . We’ve made no secret that we think this Bulldog team could be flying under the radar and that Mullins is one of the more underrated two-way players in the state. He showed why he shouldn’t be underrated moving forward with another solid performance, finishing with 125 yards and three touchdowns on offense and leading the Bulldogs with 15 tackles on defense.
