Each week I will breakdown and make predictions for seven games in Southern California.

Here is a look at what I think are the top games of the week:

ST.JOHN BOSCO VS. BISHOP AMAT

Bishop Amat has one of its best teams in recent memory and is off to an impressive 2-0 start with blowout wins over Valencia and La Habra. [player_tooltip player_id='147734' first='Richard' last='Munoz Jr'] is playing well at quarterback with top receiver [player_tooltip player_id='145208' first='Delano' last='Franklin']. The defense led by Cal commit [player_tooltip player_id='190272' first='Tiumalu' last='Afalava'], [player_tooltip player_id='384911' first='Raymond' last='Macias'], [player_tooltip player_id='384885' first='Chris' last='Cooper'] and [player_tooltip player_id='145213' first='Corey' last='Johnson'] has held quality opponents to low scores. Bosco had a dominant showing representing California against Allen of Texas. Louisville commit [player_tooltip player_id='190270' first='DeAndre' last='Moore'] showed his speed on a 55-yard touchdown catch and [player_tooltip player_id='25456' first='Matayo' last='Uiagalelei'] showed he is unstoppable in the redzone with a touchdown catch on a lob. Washington commit [player_tooltip player_id='145191' first='Deven' last='Bryant'] led the defense along with [player_tooltip player_id='115469' first='Jordan' last='Lockhart'] and [player_tooltip player_id='115432' first='Marcelles' last='Williams']. [player_tooltip player_id='25380' first='Jshawn' last='Frausto-Ramos'] had an interception as well as new arrival [player_tooltip player_id='145257' first='Vaka' last='Hansen']. Bosco dominated this matchup last year and will do so again Friday.

The pick: St. John Bosco

https://twitter.com/boscofootball/status/1564318672570593280?s=20u0026t=90Nane701GPcfq23F2shrg

RANCHO CUCAMONGA VS. NORCO

Norco struggled mightily last week against Santa Margarita. The Huskies had 157 yards of total offense and UCLA commit [player_tooltip player_id='145245' first='Grant' last='Gray'] had negative yards receiving. Rancho Cucamonga is coming off a very impressive 13-12 win over Apple Valley last week and beat a Trinity League opponent in Servite the week before. Transfer quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='42957' first='CJ' last='Tiller'] has been effective and the defense led by Lavaka Latu and [player_tooltip player_id='261691' first='Christian' last='Pierce'] have been difficult to move the ball on. I expect a low-scoring affair here.

The pick: Rancho Cucamonga

INGLEWOOD VS. CARLSBAD

Carlsbad is coming off a two overtime win against Mater Dei Catholic where the Lancers converted a 2-point attempt to win the game. The Lancers are led by top junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='115456' first='Julian' last='Sayin'] who has offers from all the major schools. Tight end [player_tooltip player_id='190362' first='Zack' last='Marshall'] is ineligible until midseason but [player_tooltip player_id='384784' first='Justin' last='Johnson'] is a quality receiver and [player_tooltip player_id='398452' first='Luke' last='Ferrelli'] is a great two-way player. Inglewood has its best team in years and is led by sophomore quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='406636' first='Husan' last='Longstreet']. Louisville commit [player_tooltip player_id='261865' first='Jamari' last='Johnson'] is a giant at tight end and [player_tooltip player_id='115468' first='Terrell' last='Bradshaw'] is a speedy receiver. Inglewood is loaded in the secondary with [player_tooltip player_id='145167' first='Makhi' last='Connor'], [player_tooltip player_id='25401' first='Jonah' last='Lewis'], [player_tooltip player_id='145165' first='Khalil' last='Peart'] and [player_tooltip player_id='261763' first='Jaden' last='DaCosta']. This is one of the most intriguing games of the week.

The pick: Inglewood

https://twitter.com/InglewoodSports/status/1563617143358251009?s=20u0026t=Dlf_Up7zPDigN2LkzhDpMA

ORANGE LUTHERAN VS. EDISON

This game went down to the wire last season and Edison gave Orange Lutheran a bigger challenge than any public school did last season. Parker Awad has been outstanding at quarterback with a talented but inexperienced receiving corps. [player_tooltip player_id='383957' first='Nathan' last='Gates'] leads a quality offensive line for the Chargers. Edison played a close game against Leuzinger last week. Orange Lutheran sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='282728' first='TJ' last='Lateef'] has been great at quarterback so far. The defense is much better than last year's with Wallace Filemu and [player_tooltip player_id='261807' first='Gabe' last='Morin'] leading the charge. Orange Lutheran's running game has been lackluster and that is a concern.

The pick: Orange Lutheran

https://twitter.com/OLuFootball/status/1565083309289263104?s=20u0026t=Dlf_Up7zPDigN2LkzhDpMA

ST. BONAVENTURE VS. LINCOLN

Lincoln is playing a quality Southern Section opponent for the second consecutive week after losing 14-7 to Alemany. UCLA commit [player_tooltip player_id='145173' first='Roderick' last='Robinson II'] is one of the best running backs in the state. KJ Chatham started the Alemany game at quarterback and had trouble getting the offense going. St. Bonaventure is coming off an impressive win against Pacifica of Oxnard. [player_tooltip player_id='261716' first='Delon' last='Thompson'] had a career-game with over 369 rushing yards and it will be fun to see him and Robinson go toe-to-toe. Alemany transfer [player_tooltip player_id='115460' first='Anthony' last='Wolter'] is the quarterback and [player_tooltip player_id='25394' first='Joaquin' last='Johnson'] is a star receiver. Both teams have a lot of talent at the skill positions but I think St. Bonaventure has the edge in the trenches.

The pick: St. Bonaventure

https://twitter.com/newerasportsav/status/1564105861982629889?s=20u0026t=Dlf_Up7zPDigN2LkzhDpMA

LONG BEACH POLY VS. MISSION VIEJO

This is a matchup between two of the top five public school programs in Southern California. This is the hardest game remaining on both team's schedules. Mission Viejo has one of the best passing games in the state led by quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='25441' first='Kadin' last='Semonza'] and D1 receivers [player_tooltip player_id='25408' first='Mikey' last='Matthews'], [player_tooltip player_id='190360' first='Jackson' last='Holman'], [player_tooltip player_id='261722' first='Edward' last='Schultz'] and [player_tooltip player_id='261773' first='KJ' last='Reed']. The defense is great with a pass rush from [player_tooltip player_id='261806' first='Jonathan' last='Becerra'] and [player_tooltip player_id='195570' first='Jack' last='Matranga']. The secondary is great led by [player_tooltip player_id='384830' first='Michael' last='Damato'] and [player_tooltip player_id='398456' first='Trey' last='Tolmaire'] who just got an offer from Michigan. Poly ran the ball well against Serra last week with [player_tooltip player_id='261774' first='Devin' last='Samples']. [player_tooltip player_id='115447' first='Darius' last='Curry'] is effective as a quarterback and [player_tooltip player_id='115473' first='Jason' last='Robinson JR'] and [player_tooltip player_id='282751' first='Jadyn' last='Robinson'] are quality receivers. [player_tooltip player_id='184158' first='Dylan' last='Williams'] is Polys best defensive player but he may be neutralized because I don't see Mission running the ball much. The matchup to watch is Poly cornerback [player_tooltip player_id='144960' first='Daylen' last='Austin'] and Diablos receiver [player_tooltip player_id='25408' first='Mikey' last='Matthews'].

The pick: Mission Viejo

https://twitter.com/prepzone/status/1565776578352582656?s=20u0026t=Dlf_Up7zPDigN2LkzhDpMA

MATER DEI VS. CENTENNIAL

Mater Dei is coming off a grueling last-minute win over Bishop Gorman. Now they have another test in nationally ranked Centennial, who gave them their toughest test last season. [player_tooltip player_id='147708' first='Elijah' last='Brown'] is undefeated as a quarterback and has found connections with receivers [player_tooltip player_id='384736' first='Jordan' last='Onovughe'] and [player_tooltip player_id='282711' first='Marcus' last='Harris']. [player_tooltip player_id='282698' first='Jordon' last='Davison'] has been good at running back and Mater Dei has the edge in the trenches with [player_tooltip player_id='147719' first='DeAndre' last='Carter'], [player_tooltip player_id='147730' first='Brandon' last='Baker'], [player_tooltip player_id='25453' first='BJ' last='Tolo'] and [player_tooltip player_id='282776' first='Sione' last='Tohi']. Centennial hasn't been tested but both quarterbacks [player_tooltip player_id='25365' first='Izzy' last='Carter'] and [player_tooltip player_id='25368' first='Carson' last='Conklin'] have showed good flashes. [player_tooltip player_id='683627' first='Cornell' last='Hatcher'] has been excellent at running back. [player_tooltip player_id='270906' first='Samarai' last='Anderson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='145196' first='Lucas' last='Conti'] have been great on defense with [player_tooltip player_id='145197' first='Owen' last='Chambliss'] and Mater Dei transfer [player_tooltip player_id='115426' first='Marco' last='Coleman']. This will be a down to the wire game but I have trouble picking against Mater Dei until they lose.

The pick: Mater Dei

https://twitter.com/Cen10Football/status/1565494118800924674?s=20u0026t=Dlf_Up7zPDigN2LkzhDpMA

Huntley's Record: 9-5
