We will be taking a look at some the top performers at the event divided by class year, positions and home state, and listed alphabetically. For more Combine coverage, please check out the links at the bottom of the page.
Da’Shaun Anderson Da’Shaun Anderson 5'11" | 165 lbs | WR Marquette | 2024 State MO , Marquette
Anderson, who measured in at 5-foot-11 and 165 pounds, ran one of the better 40-yard dash times on the day with his mark of 4.69 seconds. He also recorded a pro-agility time of 4.32 seconds, a powerball toss of 32 feet 10 inches, a broad jump of 8 feet 9 inches and a vertical leap of 28 inches.
Anderson saw some time on the varsity level during his sophomore season, but the only stats recorded were two kickoff returns for 25 yards. He’ll be a player to watch for an expanded role with a talented Marquette squad this fall as a junior.
Tyree Bonnett Tyree Bonnett 6'1" | 210 lbs | WR Marquette | 2024 State MO , Marquette
After measuring in at 6-1 and 212 pounds, Bonnett tested well in all five drills and turned in a strong overall performance.
He recorded a 4.78 40-yard dash, a 4.5 pro-agility, a powerball toss of 40-8, a broad jump of 9-4 and a vertical leap of 29 inches. Bonnett’s powerball toss ranked as one of the top distances on the day.
Bonnett, who we had previously listed at 190 pounds, was the second-leading receiver on a Marquette team as a sophomore. He caught 26 passes for 554 yards, averaging a healthy 21.3 yards per reception, and six touchdowns.
Jayden Hines Jayden Hines 5'11" | 165 lbs | ATH Lee's Summit West | 2024 State MO , Lee’s Summit West
Hines, who measured in at 5-11 and 165 pounds, listed himself as an athlete at the Combine but since one of the positions he plays is wide receiver we are listing him here. He also plays quarterback, but projects more as a wide receiver or even running back with his size and skills.
Hines was one of the top performers at the Combine as he recorded one of the top 40 times as well as one of the top marks in the broad jump. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.59 seconds and recorded a broad jump of 10 feet. He also had a pro-agility time of 4.38 seconds, a powerball toss of 35-5 and a vertical leap of 31 inches.
Darius (DJ) Jones Darius (DJ) Jones 5'10" | 180 lbs | RB Fort Zumwalt West | 2024 State MO , Zumwalt West
One of the top overall performers at the Combine, Jones is ranked by Prep Redzone as a running back (and we listed him in our story on running backs at the Combine) but listed himself as a wide receiver at the Combine. The reality is he’s a dynamic athlete who can play and thrive at either position.
After measuring in at 5-10 and 181 pounds, Jones recorded a 4.59 40-yard dash, a 4.15 pro-agility, a powerball toss of 40-6, a broad jump of 10-4 and a vertical leap of 34 inches. Each of those five marks were among the best of the day in those drills.
Jones impressed us a year ago on the combine circuit and then showed his potential during his sophomore season with the Jaguars. He racked up a team-high 1,002 total yards (514 rushing yards, 488 receiving yards) and 13 touchdowns, which tied for the team lead. He was the team’s second-leading rusher, led the team in receptions (38) and receiving touchdowns (7) and was second in receiving yards.
