Aneyas Williams Aneyas Williams 5'10" | 195 lbs | ATH Hannibal | 2024 State MO is hands down the best running back in Missouri’s 2024 class. He has been committed to Notre Dame since December of 2022. As a nationally renowned running back, we will be sure to hear more about Aneyas as 2024 approaches. Expect his rushing dominance to continue this fall for Hannibal’s offense.

Aneyas’ size and speed shown separating from smaller defenders down the sidelines for rushing touchdowns highlights his RB1 projection. Aneyas’ balance and strength show consistently staying upright through contact as more than one defender fails to bring him down. A rare combination of quickness, power, and elusiveness gets displayed beating defenders in numerous ways in the open field. Route running experience, separation ability, and adjustment ability at the catchpoint highlight Aneyas’ pass-catching potential in college.

Williams, a 5-foot-10, 195-pound athlete, excels as a running back or wide receiver — or wherever he plays on the field — and his recruitment has blown up over the last few months. After receiving his first offer from the old coaching staff at Oregon a year ago, over the past five months he had added offers from Missouri, Oregon (new coaching staff), Alabama, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Florida and Ole Miss among others.

Williams has had two monster seasons already for Hannibal. He racked up 1,377 total yards and 24 touchdowns as a freshman in 2020 and followed that up with 2,756 all-purpose yards and 47 touchdowns as a sophomore in 2021 when he led his team to the state championship game. He caught 63 passes for 1,297 yards and 24 touchdowns and ran 105 times for 1,001 yards and 20 scores. He also added 73 tackles and three interceptions.

He has been ranked near the top of Missouri’s 2024 prospects list for some time, but with this rankings update he jumps up from No. 6 to No. 4.
