– 2023 Wide Receiver – Mustang
(Played With Sooner 7)
This is the second straight weekend that Mustang 2023 wide receiver Keegan Bass Keegan Bass 5'9" | 175 lbs | WR Mustang | 2023 State OK has not only stood out, but he’s been one of the top Oklahoma prospects during the event. Bass was a catch machine throughout the two days in DeSoto and was arguably the most reliable target that Sooner 7 had and we’re considering both teams when we say that. Bass had his junior season cut short due to an injury and after watching him up close over the last two weekends, we’re very excited about his potential this spring and summer to be an absolute breakout prospect. He’s currently rated as #60 overall in our 2023 rankings and we’ll go ahead and say that his current ranking is way too low. We might be overreacting after watching him as closely as we have but I don’t think that’s the case here. As of right now, he’s knocking on the door of being a top five 2023 prospect at a very top-heavy WR group.

– 2023 Tight End – Bixby
(Played With Sooner 7)
For the second straight weekend, Bixby’s standout Luke Hasz Luke Hasz 6'4" | TE Bixby | 2023 State OK played with Sooner 7 but was limited to only playing on Saturday. However, this weekend, Hasz showed why he’s considered one of the top prospects in the state’s 2023 class as he appeared to be a grown man playing against kids. Anytime the ball was thrown his way, Hasz came down with the catch nearly every time. He also showcased a few other skills other than just catching the ball. The Bixby product was moving incredibly well after the catch and you could just imagine how scary he could be with pads and a helmet on and picking up the type of momentum he was getting after the catch. He’s going to be trucking a few defenders throughout this season. The other thing was his ability to just go up and make a catch on a jump ball. His size gives him an immediate advantage. But the strength to go over two and sometimes three defenders was very impressive to watch.

– 2025 Quarterback – Jenks
(Played With Sooner 7)
The first of two quarterbacks to make this list is freshman sensation Shaker Reisig Shaker Reisig 6'0" | 185 lbs | QB Union | 2025 State OK from Jenks. The 2025 quarterback got everyone’s attention last fall by leading Jenks to a second straight state championship. And this offseason, he’s continued to get better and he’s continuing to impress as a quarterback prospect. He’s played in several tournaments that we’ve followed the majority of and the one thing that always stands out about him and his game is his ability to make the right read and right throw. He does this on such a consistent level that when he throws an incompletion it’s somewhat surprising. We’ve used the word “surgical” to describe the way he carves up a defense and there are few things he can’t do with the football right now. The fact that he’s still a freshman is amazing to a lot of people but what stands out to us is that he’s a freshman and he’s playing the quarterback position like a senior.

– 2023 Quarterback – Choctaw
(Played With Sooner 7)
Just like Reisig put on a clinic throwing the ball, the same can be said about Choctaw 2023 QB and Akron commit Steele Wasel Steele Wasel 6'4" | 210 lbs | QB Choctaw | 2023 State OK . From the start of the 2023 class, Wasel has been considered the top quarterback prospect and he showed why throughout the weekend. Wasel was incredibly efficient moving the ball up and down the field and had some passes that were incredibly eye-opening. We also benefitted from standing directly behind Wasel throughout the tournament and could somewhat see what he was looking at in terms of coverages and windows to fit the ball. He fired an absolute strike to his Choctaw teammate La’Trell Ray La’Trell Ray 5'9" | 165 lbs | RB Choctaw | 2023 State OK in the back of the end zone and he needed as much power on it as possible to get it right by three defenders. By the time they had a chance to react, the ball had already gone by them and it was too late. It shouldn’t come as a surprise but Wasel was lights out.
