got his senior season off to a great start by throwing for five touchdowns and just over 300 yards on just 13-16 passing. The Timberwolves were able to knock off rival Norman in the Crosstown Clash on Thursday night. The T’Wolves jumped out early and were never in danger of losing their lead. However, the Tigers kept things interesting at times behind their quarterback Tias McClarty.

Friday’s Coverage
6A-2 #1 BIXBY 23, 6A-1 #3 JENKS 15
Bixby held off a furious Jenks rally in the second half to get out of Allan Trimble Stadium with a 23-15 victory. The win gives Bixby their 38th consecutive win and the Spartans now get week two off before a showdown with Stillwater. The Spartans scored the game’s first 23 points but the Trojans would make things extremely interesting in the final 18 minutes of the game. However, turnovers would ultimately doom the Trojans.

#3 BOOKER T WASHINGTON 39, #8 DEL CITY 26
It took a little longer for the Hornet offense to start clicking, but when it did, they combined that with a turnover-forcing defense to get out of Del City with the 39-26 victory. Booker T Washington improved to 2-0 behind another impressive showing from their quarterback

#2 UNION 38, #5 BROKEN ARROW 28
Union jumped out early and often and put rival Broken Arrow in a hole that they would not be able to overcome. Union would lead the visiting Tigers 21-7 at halftime but Broken Arrow would make the second half interesting. However, just like in the Bixby-Jenks clash, the hole was ultimately too much to overcome and turnovers would shoot the Tigers in the foot.

4A #2 TUTTLE 21, 3A #4 PLAINVIEW 13
4A’s #2 Tuttle improved to 2-0 on the season with a tough 21-13 victory over the visiting Plainview Indians. Tuttle showed that they might have 4A’s best defensive unit as they nearly shut down the Plainview offense throughout Friday’s win. Behind that stout defense and a strong running game, the Tigers were able to secure the win.
