Freeman is electric, exciting, explosive, and every other positive adjective you can think of to describe a talented playmaker all in one. Friday night vs Clinton he was relatively quiet to start the game. That all changed though when he scooped up a fumble and made a house call for 72 yards. Freeman had the ball in his hands 8 times total in the game and still put up 321 all purpose yards and 2 TDs. The do it all playmaker made one of the most impressive catches you’ll see all year (posted below). He can score in the return game, defensively, and of course on offense. As high as I was on him coming into the game, I left even more impressed than I could’ve imagined. After the game Freeman told me this group is “as close knit and as fun a team as he’s been apart of”. He made sure to give credit to his opponent as well as his teammates and coaching staff. Freeman is definitely worth the price of admission and sure to explode on the recruiting trail after his recent Tulsa offer. Don’t be surprised to see him leading a talented Heritage Hall squad past the semifinals that he stated “getting past that round to avenge the last couple years is definitely the expectation”.

The bruising RB/LB for Heritage Hall was in peak form against Clinton making plays all night. Faulkner had a nice 15 yard TD run in the 2nd quarter that really seemed to be the catalyst for giving the Chargers control of the game. Faulkner is a steady force for The Hall on the ground and is a nice compliment to what Freeman provides on the perimeter. In his first game last week against Millwood Faulkner carried the ball for 160 yards and 4 TDs on 20 carries. The Chargers will rely heavily on him to be a consistent force out of the backfield that helps them control the clock and provide balance to the offense. This was on display against Clinton as he helped keep the chains moving as well as the clock so that the Chargers could hold on to the lead and outlast Clinton.
