Kleppin is a true outside linebacker/edge defender that is explosive off the ball and can provide a relentless pass rush from the edge. He plays with heavy hands, shows he can bend and turn the corner quickly while able to win with both speed and power at the point of attack. He shows some cover abilities downfield and in the flats when needed and has good start/stop abilities, redirection and closing speed when collapsing from the backside. Offering good position versatility at the next level, he holds offers from SJSU, Hawaii, Idaho, Idaho State, Portland and UC Davis.
