Grant is another key piece in this loaded ’28 linebacker group Norcal has and checks in as the top ranked linebacker in the state and inside the top 25 overall. He has had a very productive summer gathering offers from Minnesota, Arizona, ASU, Maryland among others and is another prospect that is on his way to becoming a national recruit. Grant is a highly instinctual and fast play-maker that packs a punch at the POA, shows elite COD/movement abilities and has a quick trigger when coming downhill. He will be one of the top players in the loaded WCAL this Fall and should gather plenty of post season honors.

Grant has had a very busy Spring so far, and is quickly becoming one of the more sought after 2028 linebackers in the state of California. He is a violent hitter playing in one of the top leagues in Norcal, and checks into our rankings as a top five player at his position. Grant impressed in February at the National Preps Showcase event in Sacramento, showing good cover abilities, closing speed and has the frame and length to continue packing on weight over the next three years. His Freshman tape is some of the more impressive film of any linebacker in his class and he has recently gathered offers from Arizona, ASU and SJSU. He should be a 15+ offer guy by the time his prep career comes to a close and will be one of the top players in the vaunted WCAL this Fall.

Grant is one of the top linebackers in his class, and is coming off a very impressive first season campaign in 2024 where he was one of the top defenders in the loaded WCAL in just his first season and is one of the top returning players heading into 2025. He is a big time hitter in the box and shows he can apply pressure up the middle with well-timed blitzes and is a high IQ kid that can sniff out screens/draws quickly and flows well over the top and can make plays outside the tackles, sideline to sideline. Grant has a longer build and will only continue to grow and develop into a every down linebacker and is a definite FBS caliber prospect. Grant currently holds offers from UNLV and Sacramento State.
