Zach Brown is one talented player for Central Dauphin East. In Friday’s 21-20 win over rival Central Dauphin, he was a huge difference-maker during the game. He has 2 sacks and a blocked field goal in the win. Brown is unblockable at times on the defense and a real force. He continues to show it week in and week out.

Zackary Brown is a twitchy and athletic player that every team wishes they had. He is one of the best players in the 2026 class. Brown played linebacker and wide receiver last year. At linebacker, he shows off his athleticism by always attacking the offense. He is a great blitzer who just crushes the offense with his athleticism when he blitzes. He also shows good fundamentals by reading and reacting to the play and attacking downhill. He is also a good tackler who tackles offensive players with a ton of force. He has limited film on offense but shows a good ability to catch the ball and make defenders miss. His recruitment started to pick up when he got an offer from Umass after he got an offer from Nebraska in the winter. Brown should get more offers as well going forward.

has extended his offer sheet to now include Duke, UConn, James Madison, Iowa State, West Virginia, Indiana, Boston College, and UMass. Brown is getting significant interest from numerous conferences, tough to pinpoint which conference (Big12, BIG10, ACC) want his talents the most, same for where he’ll end up in the future.

Recruiting Update: Zackary Brown’s recruitment has started to pick up lately. He has picked up offers from Nebraska, Indiana, and Boston College. He still has plenty of time to pick up more offers.
Recruiting Question: How many more Division 1 offers can he get? I can see schools like Pittsburgh and Temple offering him scholarships as well.

Sophomore linebacker Zac Brown has an incredibly high ceiling that is just starting. Coach Weider shared his thoughts below:
Brown played linebacker for Central Dauphin East last year. He is a very strong and athletic player who makes many plays for the Central Dauphin East defense. A big part of Brown’s game was Central Dauphin East sending him on blitzes to attack the offense. They would send the blitzes from different angles to use Brown’s athleticism to create havoc for the offense. Brown is also good at reading and reacting to the play and then coming downhill to make a tackle. Brown is an athletic tough linebacker who makes a ton of plays all over the field. He should only get better going forward as well.”
