Expert Analysis

Xzavier has been an awesome player to watch. We watched as he turned into a 265 lbs OL from a previous 205 lbs athlete. Now he is up to 280 lbs, and the offers are starting to come in as he approaches his senior season. Grabher now has offers from Army, Southwest Minnesota State, Northern State, Mankato, Sioux Falls and Western Illinois. Get ready for a big year as he starts his 4th year as a varsity starter.
Even with all the rapid growth, Xzavier hasn’t lost his agility and athleticism. He is able to maintain a wide base throughout the play and stay in a position of power thanks to his well developed body control. Grabher is able to reach block and get the angle on his target because of his range and quick feet. On top of the athleticism is the aggressive, finish the block mentality you need in the trenches. Xzavier has developed so much these past few years, and I expect to see another jump when he gets to the next level.

We end with an OT who seems to get better and better every time I watch him. The St. Cat’s LT is now up to 6’4″ 280 lbs, proving that he can definitely handle the size required to play high level college football. Being big is only part of the equation. Being able to efficiently and quickly move that mass is the hard part. Grabher doesn’t make it look hard though. He is a dancing bear, winning with lateral slides to cut off DL or exploding out of his stance so he can quickly get in position to wall off DL and get the leverage advantage. We also see the junior’s ability to stick on blocks thanks to his quick feet. That led to him driving some blocks 20+ yards downfield before finishing them. The big LT also brings the power needed to move the line of scrimmage downfield as he drives his man off the ball or into the ground. Size, athleticism, power and even more potential to tap into are all there in Xzavier. Check him out.

The upward trajectory of Grabher’s development has been impressive to watch. He had a massive growth spurt this past year. Since then we have seen him really advance his technique and power making him a high end prospect for the next level. Long arms match the big frame, allowing him to make first contact, clamp those big mitts onto this guy, and pull them in to where he can control them. In one on ones, the LT looked very natural against speed rushers. He was able to get deep into his pass set to cut off the DE. Xzavier looked great changing directions in his pass set to mirror counter moves and inside rush attempts. The anchor strength is there to stuff bull rush attempts too. He is a name to know, and a prospect that is just starting to tap into his potential.

Xzavier I thought was one of the most gritty offensive linemen we had at our Prep Redzone Wisconsin Showcase yesterday. The 6’4 255 pounder from Racine St Catherine’s showed off excellent hand speed and added plenty of sound aggression in them too in which he utilized his long reach to win a handful of reps in our 1v1 sessions and showed off his excellent leverage a ton. Xzavier was also in our “Best of the Best” competition at the end of session one, as I was also intrigued with his balance with his footwork with his measurables. Xzavier also impressed me with his work ethic and leadership yesterday in Oak Creek amongst the OL group, as this OT prospect with a 4.0 GPA certainly has a high football IQ I would be wanting if I were a college recruiter at the next-level. No question a Division I fit in my eyes in Wisconsin’s 2025 class that should have a big summer on the college camp circuit.

Stock Movement: Up 39 SpotsrnXzavier has had one of the most impressive offseasons in WI, and I am confident it is going to come to fruition with a big breakout junior season. Grabher played his sophomore season at 205 lbs and didn’t allow a sack all season. He is now 6’4″ 255 lbs! When you see that much growth during only a few months you can have concerns about the athletic side of the athlete’s game. However, we were lucky enough to have Grabher at the PRZ WI Showcase this spring and he impressed with how well he was still able to move at his new size, plus the added strength was noticeable. Get on this dude now because he is going to make a name for himself this fall.

A budding OL that had a strong day is the 6’4″ 240 lbs sophomore. Grabher has been working on filling out his frame, and he is well on his way to putting on that next level size. No question, Grabher’s frame is well built and will be able to support that size. Xzavier was one of the best from the OT position. He was very light on his feet. His hands were just as quick and paired together made him a hard opponent to get around. I was impressed with how well he was able to absorb bull rushers out in space too. Strong day for a rising OL prospect.
