is the lone prospect ranked above Stearn. Stearn looked polished and calm rolling out to either his left or right, proving he has the accuracy and arm talent to impress away from the pocket. Stearn wowed in both clean and dirty pockets. Stearn worked his reads like the seasoned vet he is. Love the rapport he has with McKee and Cain. Opposing defenses are going to have trouble forcing Stearn to abide by their rules, he can win in so many different ways. A three-level thrower who is HS-level mobile, a young man as accurate as they come. Strides have been made mentally too, I’ve never seen Stearn this collected when processing what the defense is throwing at him. Huge game from the state’s 2nd-ranked QB.

6’5.5, 215 pounds. Identified first by myself, this when Stearn was just a freshman. Went on to win QB MVP as a freshman at our PRZ Combine. Ranked as the third-best QB prospect among the 2026 PA crop.
A highly-sought after passer among Northeast FCS programs. UPenn, Bryant, Cornell, New Hampshire, Georgetown, all of these football programs are heavily bought into Stearn’s potential. An FCS floor, yet I still think there is serious potential for Stearn to land at the G5/FBS level. Delaware and Eastern Michigan are sold, I’m interested in learning if Army WP, Temple, or Buffalo are also interested. With Beals “dropping” a bit on boards, the likelihood of Stearn being a take across 5-8 G5s is unlikely, but all it takes is one.

‘s name from the mountaintops for as long as I can remember. There’s nothing left to say that I haven’t already said in the past. Let me just display his stat lines from each of his games this year. Stearn needs to be recruited today. Coaches should be clamoring for a shot to make a connection with him, it could make or break a program’s recruiting class.
Here’s what I have said about Stearn just two weeks ago.
Tough to raise your stock further if you’re Xavier Stearn
Xavier Stearn 6'5" | 225 lbs | QB Germantown Academy | 2026 State PA . I’ve gone on record numerous times, lauding all things Stearn, been doing so for almost two years now. Thankfully, Stearn is making me look good in terms of evaluation. Lincoln had Germantown on the ropes for the majority of this football game, it took a bit of time for the passing game to open up, but once it did, Germantown was able to score 27 points in one half. Stearn, this credit to his offensive line, can tear apart a defense when given the opportunity. Stearn can turn a game into a 7v7 event when he’s seeing the field properly. Fantastic locater, a fantastic decision-maker, it’s great seeing Stearn show more command and confidence now that he’s no longer an underclassman. I witnessed him direct his teammates, I witnessed him work officials for calls, even witnessed Stearn not shy away from opposing chatter from Lincoln. The young man is growing up and is proving our ranking to be a good one. Currently holds one offer from the University of Pennsylvania.

has one of the strongest arms in the 2026 class. He also has pinpoint accuracy and knows exactly where he wants to go with the ball almost every time. He also has excellent mechanics and footwork. He is completely comfortable in the pocket picking a part of a defense. Stearn has the potential to be the best quarterback in this group.
Off-Season Update: Stearn played on the Level 82 7 on 7 Team. He also recently competed at the Elite 11 camp. He was also at Penn State’s Junior Day. Stearn should get plenty of attention in the fall and I expect many CFB offers coming his way.

in pads. With so much hype around his name, largely in part of my doing, I wanted to see what Stearn looked like away from his comfort zone. Maybe the beach is his comfort zone, because the young man looked as comfortable, confident, and poised as ever. The young signal-caller threw four touchdowns in a win over Gratz, waking up anyone denying the kid’s potential. I spoke in a previous piece about his approach/demeanor, about how seasoned he look despite this being his first year as a starter. I have a feeling Stearn and family are going to like his future ranking. He proved a lot this Fall.

- the stats are great, flashy production, it’s the little things that impress me with Stearn’s performance against Gratz down the shore.
- Consistent base and dropback with each passing rep, you just don’t see this often from young quarterbacks especially ones making their first start.
- Great head movement, can dart from read to read, but Stearn isn’t fidgety with his eyes, both feet and eyes are calm post and pre-snap. Base stays tight during drop back as well as when stepping into the pocket.
- effortless deep ball, threw multiple 30+ yard TDs with a simple forward hip and flick. Not too much of a hitch visible from what I saw.
- Accurate and on time when targetting routes underneath the defense, has no shame in taking what the defense gives him. Catches the snap, finds his key defender, and hits outs or hitches outside the nimbers with ease, often doing so from the opposite hash mark too.
- A dominant performance from a kid I’m very fond of.

. I personally think the young man has a higher ceiling than Falzone and Carr, it’s just tough considering we haven’t seen him in pads much. The off-season, however, has me fully expecting him to tear up defenses all Fall. Stearn has to grow from a visual perspective, seeing things on the field is vastly different from making his reads in a camp or 7v7 setting. So long as Stearn sees and understands what’s in front of him, we’ll see a promising sophomore Fall unfold behind center. Mental processing is huge for every player on this list, no matter who the grade either. Excited to see how far the kid has come along since we last saw him this past Winter.
