Every touchdown of Mick McKee’s can be seen below, as well as every catch and big hit from his DB spot. The Lehigh commit was practically unguardable, demanding a double-team often in this one. I’ll break down his performance a bit further below.

6’3, 175 pounds. Is a point guard on the basketball court.
A prospect who has fluctuated up and down our rankings, ranking as high as 60 and as low as 120. Prospects who place in this realm are surefire FCS prospects, prospects who have definitive FBS potential the higher up the rankings. I have gone on record in the past clamoring for coaches to make sure they have Michael McKee on radar, it looks like that has come to fruition. Visits to Holy Cross and Maryland were announced during the Fall season. With McKee, I know for a fact that coaches who have him on radar are on the same page about one thing. How well does McKee run? McKee’s future likely resides based on how well he tests among 2026 peers of equal stature. There is no questioning McKee’s athleticism, no question his tape/production, no questioning his versatility as a two-way football player. A hurdle coaches will even get over is that of figuring out McKee’s capability to run away from DBs and/or keep up with wideouts downfield. The question is understandable from a coach’s perspective. Excited to see who pulls the trigger on this stud.

Since I last checked in on McKee, (two weeks ago), the young man has gone on to catch nine balls for four touchdowns, elevating his touchdown total to seven in just three games. Tack on multiple PBUs, multiple tackles and interceptions from his S/CB spot.
Here’s what I wrote on Mckee just two weeks ago.
Two-way performance. Michael McKee II
Michael McKee II 6'3" | 180 lbs | WR/DB Germantown Academy | 2026 State PA was stationed at corner and was tasked with the almost impossible job of bottling up Syracuse commit Ziyyon Bredell
Ziyyon Bredell 6'1" | 175 lbs | ATH Lincoln | 2025 State PA . Where McKee shined and potentially earned himself some money was on the other side of the football. Five catches on the day, three scores in a game that almost got out of hand. Germantown Academy was behind the eight-ball for a good part of this game, yet the staff insisted on establishing a running game. Once Germantown was forced to open up the field and throw the ball, Stearn and McKee began to connect for big plays. McKee reeled in a pass on a slant while being draped by a defender, a close-quarters catch that shows off his hand-eye coordination. Another touchdown came on what looked like a corner route ran by McKee while in trips formation. McKee reeled in the catch why flashing his toe-dragging skills for an impressive score, his second of the game. Again, you can see the body control and coordination this kid is working with. McKee would get open for another score with less than a minute left in the ball game. Huge game against a Lincoln defense that was on point for the most part. McKee also provided a spark via kick return.

Frist rep on tape has McKee shedding on the perimeter and delivering a jarring clean-up tackle. In a tape that has him securing interceptions and catching touchdowns, I appreciate that he chose a run support clip from his DB alignment to start his sophomore tape. Can serve as a deep middle third, looks comfortable in single-high sets that run C3. Can serve as a press corner and match up well with bigger number-one wideouts. Towsen is a wideout that can do a bit of everything, Mckee II can open things up for the offense based on stride alone. A long-limbed athlete who is likely to settle into a specific role as he continues to develop at GTA. I like McKee as a top 15 two-way player in the state, with a clear top ten ceiling. Production is likely to increase on both sides of the ball. Recruiting would likely heat up after seeing which way his body develops. Can he still keep good speed while adding potential weight? If he stays at this weight, will he be able to keep up with wideouts outside the numbers? Is he a future S or OLB? This kid’s potential is through the roof, one of my favorite prospects to bring up to coaches.
