I really liked the grittiness that Cameron Peoples showed throughout this event. In space Peoples played not only tight to his assignment, but through the man. As the pass was forthcoming, Peoples, who was consistently in phase, followed through and viciously attacked the ball. This same grittiness appeared once more in goal line situations, as one of the shorter defensive backs to compete completed jammed his opponent at the line of scrimmage, refusing to allow a clean release, and eliminated the goal line fade as an option for that offensive rep.

Peoples is a true DB, and can easily play the Position in the future. he has outstanding length, and showcases elite vision and the ability to track down the ball. He is a future star at the DB Position.

Moving to Pennsylvania, we start off with William Penn Charter prospect Cameron Peoples. The talented DB, showcased all his traits during the weekend, and I was impressed with his composure and his ability to make plays on the ball regardless of his position. He has excellent body control, and I liked his hands and his ability to affect plays.

Cameron Peoples is a super talented athlete in the class of 2030 out of Pennsylvania, and he has the ability to really stand out in many ways for his team making impact. He is one talent who can really make a lot of noise at an event like this called the “RIZE”!

It’s been well over a year since I last saw Cameron compete at a PRZ event, but his performance at the Next Northeast Camp still stands out. That Saturday afternoon, he earned more recognition than any defensive back in attendance. Cameron is a fluid mover with impressive coverage skills, displaying the ability to transition out of his backpedal quickly and change directions without losing speed. He was especially effective in man coverage, staying attached to receivers and making separation difficult throughout drills. Since that evaluation came back in 2025, he’s clearly added size to his frame, which only adds to the excitement surrounding his return.

The top performing defensive back at the Next Northeast camp, Cameron People was electric from start to finish. There was very little you could critique in what Cameron showed on the field Saturday afternoon. With an athletic build, Cameron dominated as he went from one drill to the next, showing he has the versatility to thrive anywhere in the secondary.

Cameron displayed lethal quickness in the L-drill (4.85 sec.), showing that he can move fluidly with fast feet as he changes directions. During the live drills against the WRs, I was thoroughly impressed with how quickly he could get his hips around to open up and get out of his back peddle. Cameron made it very difficult for any of the QBs to find success against him on vertical routes. In the positional drills, Cameron showed off his hand, explosiveness, and tracking skills by climbing the ladder and high pointing the ball. With a broad jump like Cameron has (8’3″ ft), he has the ability to pounce for the ball like few others in his age group can.
