A Jersey native that was in the mix at receiver happened to be Xavier Christian Xavier Christian 5'10" | 130.5 lbs | WR/RB NJ . If there is one thing I want Christian to walk away from this camp knowing, it is that the ball is best when it is in his hands. Christian showed that he can create and get open, but I want it in his possession sooner. As such, he would benefit from attacking the ball, coming back to it as it is in flight.

I had to keep circling Xavier’s name Saturday afternoon because he continuously made plays that drew the attention of myself and the crowds. Not only was Xavier the fastest player in the 40 yard dash (4.71s), but he showed time and time again that he is a force to be reckoned with when lining up out wide. In man to man coverage, Xavier can be devastating to defenses. Xavier has a knack for shaking defenders off of him at the line with a quick burst and agile feet. If he gets a step on the DB, it’s all over. Xavier can burn by them and have plenty of separation to make it an easy throw. I think Xavier was one of the best players not just in his position group, but at the entire event.

Christian is a quick and agile prospect which will make him a deadly route runner and downfield threat with the Ironmen. He showcased good hips and a nice follow through on catches through contact.

Listed as a WR and RB, this speaks to Xavier’s versatility, which will be on full display next Saturday. With performance testing, individual drills, and competition against the top DBs in the country, Xavier has plenty of opportunities to put himself on the map.

Xavaier Christian is one outstanding talent at the wide out position and one I see doing really well at this event. He will have a lot of talented players to go against at the “RIZE” giving him the great opportunity to showcase his abilities against some of the best coming from not just his home state of New Jersey but all over from other states around the Country!
