once again proved why he continues to earn recognition every time he steps onto the field. Taking all of his reps at running back, he stood out as a prospect who has clearly developed ahead of the curve. His comfort level and confidence were evident throughout the day, separating him from the pack with a mature, high school ready presence.
Don’t be fooled by his size, Malachi can move. He’s a natural, polished runner with impressive linear speed and can get low through his cuts and explode out of them with purpose. Once pads come on, it’s game over. His blend of strength and speed makes him extremely difficult to contain, and that physical edge only amplifies his effectiveness. Malachi’s performance reinforced his status as one of the more complete backs in attendance.

is an 2030 athlete I had the privilege of watching live at the Jersey Shore tryouts. Immediately you could tell Malachi was a man amongst boys on the field that afternoon. Clearly ahead in his physical development, he displayed high school level size and a frame that set him apart from his peers that weekend. Despite his bruising build, he moves with surprising nimbleness, combining power and agility in a way few backs at his level can. Gritty and fearless, he welcomes contact and isn’t afraid to deliver a blow of his own, making him a force in both the running game and as a linebacker on defense. With an offer from Syracuse already in hand, there’s a lot to be excited about for this young stud as his career continues to unfold.

Already with a Syracuse University offer, that alone tells you a lot about this special young man! Bredy is a nightmare for offenses off of the defensive side of the ball. He’s big, he’s physical and he is a mover! He also has the ability to be a beast of a runner at the running back position. He really has the ability to star at either or both because he dominates them both now!

, a middle school phenom with a high school build, stood out like a man among boys. He dazzled in every running back drill with explosive bursts and moved the fastest in the cone drills, showcasing lightning quick acceleration and change of direction skills. Unafraid to lower his shoulder in 1 on 1 matchups, Malachi displayed relentless grit and physicality. He also stayed for the wide receiver and defensive back session, holding his own against the best at both positions. With his blend of speed, power, and versatility, Malachi proved to be a dominant running back but also an elite all around athlete that could make the team as a linebacker.

could be one of the most sought after athletes in the NJ 2030 when all is said and done. Malachi already has high school size and dimensions, as he really stands out lining up against your average middle school player.
Malachi is an athlete in the truest sense. He could easily line up and find success as a bruising running back or even be set out wide to be that jump ball specialist every aerial attack needs. From all of his offseason film, I am most impressed with his hand skills. He has a huge catch radius and does an exceptional job reeling in balls from afar.
Malachi eats, sleeps and breaths football, and it shows. He has been putting in extensive work in this offseason to fine tune his foot work and agility, which will payoff dividends when the 2025 season arrives. Already holding an offer from Syracuse, Malachi’s buzz will continue to grow over these next few seasons.

Malachi is one of the top 2030 prospects in the state, and Saturday will mark the first time I get to see him perform in person. His 2024 film was some of the most impressive tape I’ve seen this season, with Malachi figuratively and literally towering over the competition. Heading into 8th grade, he possesses the size you typically don’t see at his age, making him a standout player. His speed, acceleration, and nimble movement on the field are qualities that should translate to excellent times in the 40-yard dash and cone drills this weekend. Given his talent, I expect Malachi to draw significant attention from coaches and scouts after his performance.

, Bredy was also an AYF Jersey Shore Conference All-Star selection. Bredy has the ATH/LB distinction because the kid is built like a Thoroughbred and he can play a number of positions. Absolutely physically impressive.

‘s 2024 highlight tape, it’s clear that he has emerged as one of the top athletes in New Jersey’s 2030 class. A larger-than-life presence on the field, Malachi is clearly a cut above the competition. Towering over others in his age group, your eyes are immediately drawn to Malachi pre-snap, as you know he has the potential to make eye-popping plays.
Malachi excelled on both sides of the ball in 2024. As a bruising tailback, he showcased his long-stride running style by accelerating through the hole and outrunning defenders in open space. Not only was he a threat in the run game, but Malachi also displayed strong hands, securing concentrated catches in traffic and turning upfield with ease. His team will find every way possible to get the ball in his hands.
However, Malachi’s true calling may be on defense. A dominant linebacker who is too explosive to contain, he consistently finds his way to the ball carrier and disrupts plays before they even develop. His versatility makes it difficult to predict where he’ll line up in the future—he has proven himself more than capable of applying pressure as an edge rusher but could also drop back as a middle linebacker and command the defensive unit.

The words “thoroughbred” and “stallion” were just two of the complementary descriptions of Bredy that I overheard at the tryout. A big, physical, Middle Linebacker who used was very clearly on a different level than the other prospects. From a raw strength and power angle, he was second to none. The former Defensive End should also serve as a short yardage or power back on the offensive side of the ball and help wear down the opposing defense.
