Our last two Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcases, Xander has ranked two at his first one and our DB MVP at our last showcase showing me why we have him rated as as a top 15 prospect and our DB2 in North Dakota. Xander is one the best ball-trackers North Dakota has to offer in this 2026 class and I am very surprised a school hasn’t taken a crack with an early offer yet. The way he penetrates to shutdown the initial route and still processes the route under him for an interception on his first look on tape, would sell me right away as a college football recruiter. Plus, looking back at the testing numbers, Xander has always been in the top tier amongst defensive backs at multiple showcases. I wouldn’t be surprised to see at junior days that a couple NSIC schools get on board with a couple offers to Xander. Twitter

of Bismarck Century. The 6’0 170 pound showed off an impressive outing at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Combine last Spring and thus far this season has continued his upward trend popping into our top 10 overall. His sound ability to move laterally with his footwork sets off on tape a persistence of physicality as a ball-tracker and he has the proactive change of direction to close ahead of the pass-catcher on a consistent basis. When it comes to pass coverage, Xander is typically attached to the wide receiver like a hawk and his versatility with his position angle is typically centered within inches of the ball carrier. Xander is a cornerback prospect that I could certainly see an FCS target for in the future. Twitter

The live eval is huge for coaches/scouts this time of year, as I knew I had to zoom in and watch our DB2 in 2026 in Bismarck Century’s

. Xander came in almost right on the money with his measurables which was great to see and to not much surprise was one of the first looks I got on my notepad from the defensive back position. Xander was one that took every rep he was given with solid attention to detail and was rewarded at the end as one of our five top performers amongst the DB group. The 1v1 rep I watched that stuck, showed off that Xander had the wide receiver in his pocket, as he did not give an inch and clinged to the WR like a magnet and showed off progressive ball-tracking skills along with it. In testing, the promising numbers Xander put up will certainly get him some camp invites this summer as his top numbers was a 7.31 L-drill, 4.78 40-yard dash (which was the range I hoped to see him in) the explosion popping out with a 9’0 broad jump. Certainly Xander will be a DB prospect you see on Saturdays as a top 20 prospect overall in North Dakota.
