William Lufiau is a tremendous running back prospect with loads of potential. Lufiau has a tremendous size-speed combination as he runs the forty-yard dash in 4.5s while being 200lb. He speed pops on tape once he reaches the open field as he can separate from almost anyone on the field. He is excellent at making defenders miss in space as he can stop and cut on a dime. Lufiau is versatile as he can play in both a zone and gap scheme thanks to his speed and toughness to run up the middle. His best skill aside from his speed is his patience behind the line of scrimmage as he often lets the blocking develop a few yards downfield before he accelerates and hits the hole. Lufiau can also pass protect as he can scan the defensive front well to determine who to block on top of being a willing blocker. Lufiau is a tremendous running back prospect who already holds one NCAA Division One offer and more should follow once more coaches watch his tape.
