has been on an absolute tear. Over his last five games, he has thrown 20 touchdown passes, and he’s topped 249 passing yards in every one of those matchups — including a 340-yard performance against Voorhees in the opening round. As Camden pushed deeper into the playoffs, Jones kept getting sharper.
Throughout this stretch, Jones has paired production with efficiency. He has thrown only two interceptions during this run, demonstrating clear command of the offense and growing confidence in his reads. Moreover, his accuracy from the pocket, his quick processing, and his ability to diagnose defenses have allowed Camden to stay aggressive without sacrificing ball security.
As a result, Jones’ late-season surge has transformed Camden’s offense. His hot streak — which started at the end of the regular season and carried straight into the postseason — has propelled Camden into the Group 2 state championship game against Shabazz.
Ultimately, Jones may not get the statewide spotlight he deserves, but his consistency and high-level execution have made him one of the true unsung heroes of the New Jersey playoffs.

put on a show at the PA Classic, performing at an elite level to help SHEC Elite take home the championship. Despite only playing on Sunday, he made every snap count, lighting up defenses with pinpoint accuracy and elite field awareness. His ball placement was flawless, consistently throwing his receivers open and threading the needle between coverages. Jones displayed sharp decision-making and a deep understanding of the game, always knowing where his weapons were and how to exploit the defense. A top quarterback prospect in New Jersey, he’s definitely a player to watch as he heads into his senior season at Camden.

Jones was part of a duo that won the event with SHEC Elite. His great arm and talent warrant his top-10 spot in the New Jersey quarterback rankings. He can stretch the field to hit his sideline throws on timing throws. He can roll out well to move the pocket and keep the ball safe while doing so. Down in the red zone, he takes care of the ball and can fit through tight windows to score.

is a tough quarterback to describe. After some clips, I would say that he is a gunslinger; whereas after other clips I would consider him a scrambler. Either way, Pleasantville is best off with the ball in his hands. The lefty does a great job of identifying his primary read and letting the ball rip, while on the same token does an outstanding job of scrambling to gain chunks or yardage too. Jones’ ball placement is generally on the target, as they throw to a spot. He is very good at delivering balls over the middle, where he gets plenty of zip behind each throw, and is able to effectively run RPOs. Lastly, Jones has solid mechanics when throwing both in the pocket and on the move.
