emerged as a name to know in the trenches. As a 2028 interior defensive lineman, he already shows the traits of a future difference-maker.
Nelson brings power, first-step quickness, and advanced hand usage for his age. On tape, he consistently disrupts the run game and flashes real upside as a pass rusher, winning with leverage and strength at the point of attack. He plays with natural pad level and knows how to disengage and finish.
For a player in his first varsity season, the signs are incredibly encouraging. With another offseason to develop, Nelson’s production and profile are both poised to rise. He’s positioning himself as one of the top young interior defensive linemen in New Jersey, and his trajectory is just getting started.

is quickly becoming a name to know in South Jersey. The Camden defensive tackle put together a strong season, flashing the traits that make him one of the top young interior pass rushers in the state. Working under well-known defensive line trainer Coach LT, Nelson has developed into a true disruptor.
He plays with quick hands, a strong first step, and a relentless motor, especially from the 3-tech spot. While he’s slightly undersized, he makes up for it with explosiveness and playmaking ability. His ability to shoot gaps and create havoc in the backfield sets him apart.
Temple has already taken notice, becoming the first to offer the freshman. With more eyes on his tape, expect others to follow. Nelson’s skill set is built to impact games. He’s on the verge of breaking out.

this year in their varisty lineup. Despite often being the last lineman with his hand in the dirt and set, we see Nelson have an above-average get off. He is able to shed blocks, utilizing the rip move very well. A forceful tackler, he does so high but appears to hit opponents like a ton of bricks. When doubled or pass rushing, we see Nelson work through half-a-man – something even seniors struggle with. Nelson’s game seems to revolve around penetration rather than owning the line of scrimmage, as evidenced by his motor in the backfield. We have yet to see him neither pursue sideline-to-sideline nor take on traps and spill.

is making his presence felt as he gets his reps in for Camden. While he hasn’t gotten a ton of time on the field quite yet, he’s made the most of his opportunities and is quickly becoming more involved in Camden’s defensive scheme. Through the first 7 games of the season, Anthony has been able to accumulate 10 tackles from the defensive line and more impressively, has gotten to the QB in the backfield 2.5 times. Camden will look to continue their winning ways in week seven, as the enter the contest with a 5-2 record and face off against divisional foe Lenape. was a dominant force in the trenches for Camden, making life difficult for Timber Creek’s offense all night. The 5’10”, 280-pound nose tackle used his strength, leverage, and quickness to disrupt the running game. In the first half, he made his presence felt with a powerful tackle for loss, showcasing his burst off the line. He continued that momentum into the second half, adding another crucial tackle for loss and consistently disrupting the backfield. Nelson anchored Camden’s defense, proving himself to be a force against the run, neutralizing blockers and creating havoc at critical moments.
