As it seemed as though many prospects this offseason were headed to Winslow via transfer – while everyone “zigged” – Roman Duckett Roman Duckett 5'10" | 190 lbs | LB Camden | 2027 State NJ “zagged” and found himself in Camden. The talented running back is capable of making one, single cut and then rely on his foot speed to beat an entire defense up the middle. Aside from that breakaway speed, it seems as though on tape Duckett shows good game speed. A patient runner, he will move his feet quickly, really without gaining much ground/yardage, that is until he is ready to turn up and explode to green pastures. Duckett runs hard when he totes the rock; however, that translates to physicality when he is assigned to stay in pass protection. Looking rather stout on film, he is a tough runner to bring down and I suspect me have have tree trunks for thighs. Aside from his physical attributes, Duckett runs behidn his pads and keeps his feet moving. This, together, causes him to break a lot of tackles.

There is something special about running backs who can make one cut and gain enough speed to out-run everyone off of the field. I would probably describe Roman Duckett Roman Duckett 5'10" | 190 lbs | LB Camden | 2027 State NJ ‘s frame as a stout one, but all the while he maintains speed and patience. That impressive patience might be exactly what allows him to make his one cut and get vertical. Physicality is also a big part of Duckett’s game too. We see him be unafraid to fight for touch yardage and weaponize his body in shot yardage situations; however, Duckett might be at his most physical in pass protection. Lastly, what makes him such an outstanding back is the fact that he keeps his feet moving and runs behind his pads. It also looks like he has thick thighs that make him hard to bring down to the ground.
