might not be the biggest QB out there, but there’s no denying how well put together he is for his size. He’s got a compact, sturdy frame that helps him stay strong through contact and keep a clean base under pressure. Mechanically, he’s already really polished — his footwork is crisp and his throwing motion flows smoothly from the ground up. He’s got enough arm to hit all the throws, but it’s the way he changes up speeds and puts touch on the deep ball that really stands out. Whether he’s zipping it over the middle or dropping one into the bucket downfield, he does it all with a calm, balanced presence. There’s still room to grow physically, but that could unlock even more from an already promising skill set.

Jr. is on the come up to be the next dangerous signal caller to lead Mountain Pointe Pride. He ran a 5.28 40-yard dash, 4.84 shuttle, and a 7.7 foot broad jump. He showed good arm strength and dropped in some impressive deep balls with a nice arc under it. He was decisive with the ball, displaying good pre-snap recognition along solid footwork and timing to make those intermediate throws. He doesn’t force the flash but plays with maturity, which is rare at this stage. Antillon will be a name to continue to watch as he progresses his game in his sophomore season.

Jr. showed glimpses of what could become a really complete quarterback skill set. While he’s not the biggest or flashiest athlete on the field, he’s got a sturdy build and enough agility to move the pocket and extend plays when needed. You can tell there’s a foundation of arm strength — he dropped in a few throws with really nice touch down the field that made you take notice. One of the biggest things that stood out was his understanding of where he wanted to go with the ball. The intent was always there, and when he connected, it looked smooth and on time. The next step in his development is getting that level of placement on a more consistent basis. There were moments where the ball sailed a bit or missed outside, but he’s clearly trending in the right direction. As a 2028, there’s still a lot of physical and technical development ahead, but there was certainly enough to be excited about. If he ends up hitting a growth spurt and continues to refine that timing and accuracy, he could take a major leap. For now, he’s already showing he belongs — and the upside is definitely there.

Valentine is one of those young quarterbacks who already passes the eye test. As a freshman starter last year at Buckeye, he showed a level of poise and comfort in the pocket that you rarely see from players that age. Now at Mountain Pointe, he’s stepping into a new environment with higher expectations — and a more crowded QB room. There’s plenty to like about his game. He’s calm under pressure, gets the ball out with good velocity, and his ball placement on film is solid. He’s still growing into his frame and refining his mechanics — especially that back shoulder dip he sometimes uses to try and generate more power — but that’s a common trait for younger QBs still learning how to fully engage their lower half. What I’ll be watching for at the combine is how well he adjusts to new receivers and how clean his mechanics look rep after rep. His rhythm and timing are going to get tested in this fast-paced setting. Valentine has the physical tools and early experience — now it’s about continuing to sharpen everything around that and showing he’s ready to take another step forward.

Antillon led all 2028 QB’s in passing during the 2024 season throwing for 1,552 yards and 17 touchdowns on 223 attempts with a 54% completion rate. He’s got an athletic 5’10” 185 lb. frame with natural passing ability and plus arm strength. Smooth footwork from his drop back to his delivery, he’s balanced throughout and maintains good rhythm. Adds velocity with a strong throwing platform and good rotation in his hips and shoulders. Mixes up speeds well to throw with zip across the middle and to the perimeter boundary while putting good touch and trajectory on the deep ball. A name to know as he continues to develop throughout the next three seasons.

has his high school career off to a hot start through the first half of his freshman year. With ten touchdowns in Buckeye Union’s first five games, he’s done a really nice job of controlling drives and being safe when the offense gets into the redzone. , the two had an epic duel of underclassmen and finished with 621 passing yards and seven total touchdowns between the two. Antillon completed 82% of his passes on the day, including four for touchdowns, as Buckeye Union came away with the 50-21 victory. With his maturity and clear passion for the game, Antillon could really blossom into a top quarterback as he continues to grow as a player.
