is another 6A defensive lineman that has stood out to me this season. Neal lines up at defensive end where he has been dominant against the run. He has shown the ability to stack and shed blocks quickly then get to the ball carrier in a hurry to make tackles in the open field. Neal finished the season as his team’s leading tackler with 58 tackles and 18 tackles for loss. Tyler has also shown an impressive ability to rush the passer, finishing the regular season with 11 sacks. Neal currently holds an offer from Campbellsville and I expect more to come his way as he has the talent to play at the next level.

is another defensive lineman that has had a very impressive 2023 season. Neal continued to impress this past week in St. X’s win over Ryle. Tyler lined up at defensive end where he was very disruptive against the run, finishing the game with a team-leading 14 tackles and four tackles for loss. He showed the ability to shed blocks quickly and get to the ball carrier in a hurry to make tackles in the open field. Neal was also very impressive as a pass rusher. He showed an explosive first step which he converted into speed off the edge to blow by the opposing offensive tackle on his way to the quarterback. Neal finished the game with three sacks. Tyler doesn’t currently hold any offers but he deserves some attention from college coaches as he definitely has the talent to play somewhere at the next level.

is an aggressive defensive lineman prospect who specializes in consistently creating pressure on the opposing offense and breaking the offensive line apart. Neal, a 6’2 230lbs 2024 grad from St. Xavier High School, is having a great defensive season so far as he has recorded 5 total sacks in only 4 games (3rd in state 6A class). Tyler is arguably one of the hardest-hitting defensive prospects in the state, as he can pin down players with lots of power and ferocity. When making tackles, Neal always hits them at their weak points to enable him to quickly get them down and even attempt to knock the ball from them. Tyler is also great at driving past the offensive line using his quick acceleration and strength to push through them. Lastly, Neal has an impressively strong grip when tackling runners. Once Tyler has a hand on you, there is no chance of escaping his initial contact. Neal has high-level collegiate talent and I expect him to utilize that talent for a highly competitive college program after this 2023 season.

played a huge role in the Tigers’ win over Male this past week. The defensive end asserted his dominance as a pass rusher, showing the strength to fight through blocks on his way to the quarterback. He finished the game with three sacks. Neal also showed the ability to stop the run, adding on six total tackles. Tyler doesn’t currently hold any offers but he deserves more attention from college coaches as he has the talent to play somewhere at the next level.
