In addition to Hakim Stephens Hakim Stephens 6'0" | 277 lbs | DL/OL DuPont Manual | 2030 KY , The BOTR 8th Grade champs also got a solid performance out of Defensive Tackle, Ethan Sparks Ethan Sparks DL/OL St. Xavier | 2030 KY . Last year Sparks had a nice showing in the BOTR tournament, but was noticeably more impactful this year. Fired off the snap hard but played under control. Did a good job of feeling out when blocks were coming from down the line. Sparks routinely maintained gap integrity and made several nice plays.

On last year’s BOTR Region 2 7th Grade Championship team, Ethan Sparks Ethan Sparks DL/OL St. Xavier | 2030 KY was an immediate eye-test passer when the team took the field. He would go on to start the game on the Offensive Line and solidify himself as one of the standouts in the region. This year he’ll flip to the other side of the ball and try to replicate his strong play.
