. With his huge size and natural strength, Stephens controls the line of scrimmage, using his physicality to take on and occupy blockers and create opportunities for others to make plays. Stephens knows how to plug gaps effectively and disrupt opposing run games. As he continues to refine his technique and improve his quickness off the snap, Stephens has the potential to become an even more dominant force on the defensive front.

For the big guys up front sometimes the stats, or lack of stats, don’t tell the whole story. With bodies flying around and a heavy run attack throughout the weekend it’s difficult to tell how many tackles

had, but he had a noticeable presence. The powerful Defensive Tackle was tough a tough assignment, often times eating up double teams and freeing up his LBs behind him. I’m very high on his ability.

When looking at the first-time Kentucky Future Stars selections, there is obvious ability if a prospect is selected for the squad, but I feel that

has a very big upside. The Jefferson County native has an impressive frame with long limbs and the requisite size to become something special. In March 2025 he started at Right Tackle for Region 2 in the KYMSFA Battle of the Regions, helping them claim the crown this year. There’s plenty of time between now and high school, but Stephens looks like he could also go on to become a Defensive End. We’ll see.
