Tied for the fastest player on the field this past weekend was QB Kaden Mack Kaden Mack 6'0" | 160 lbs | QB State KY from DuPont Manual. He ran a 4.53 in the 40-yard dash on his first attempt. His second attempt saw him run a 5.10 — but his first run tops all runners from the entire camp. In addition, Mack also clocked a 4.53 in the pro shuttle and a 110 in the broad jump, both of which are above average based on the camp’s stats. It goes without saying that Mack is a pure athlete with the football in his hands. His dual-threat ability makes him one of the most dynamic incoming senior QBs in Louisville, and he proved why at Kentucky State on Sunday.

Kaden Mack Kaden Mack 6'0" | 160 lbs | QB State KY is a dynamic, dual-threat quarterback for DuPont Manuel High School. A pure athlete, Mack doesn’t stay in the pocket for too long, but he’s an accurate passer on the run and does a great job sensing pressure. He’s also demonstrated his ability to set his hips and plant his feet before throwing while being chased by defenders. Even while running out of the pocket, it’s clear that Mack goes through his progressions and doesn’t rush the play. Once he’s past the line of scrimmage, Mack is hard to bring down and can make a defender miss with his agility.

Kaden Mack Kaden Mack 6'0" | 160 lbs | QB State KY of the Louisville Dream Team showed a polished feel for the position and proved why he is ranked among Kentucky’s top quarterbacks in the 2027 class. He was comfortable attacking tight windows and consistently placed the ball where receivers of different builds could make plays on it. Mack did a strong job distributing the ball to multiple targets, keeping the defense honest, and his quick release helped him stay on rhythm throughout drives. He also layered throws effectively over the middle, showing touch and timing throughout the event.

Kaden Mack Kaden Mack 6'0" | 160 lbs | QB State KY is another quarterback who has been high on our radar for a while now and continued to impress as a sophomore. In his first full season as a starter, Mack completed 107/169 passes for 1,466 yards, 19 touchdowns, and three interceptions in 12 games. Kaden has a great feel for pressure, showing the ability to escape the pocket when needed while keeping his eyes down the field to make throws on the run. He has also shown impressive accuracy, showing the ability to hit receivers out of their breaks so that they can make catches in stride. Kaden also showed true dual-threat ability this past season, finishing the year with 81 carries for 255 yards and four touchdowns. Mack doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is a player who coaches should keep an eye on heading into his junior year.

Mack has impressive ball placement, showing the ability to put the ball where his intended receiver can run under it and make the catch in stride. He also has the arm strength to stretch the field in the deep passing game. Kaden also has very explosive speed which he is able to use to pose as a threat as a ball carrier. Mack doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is definitely a player to keep an eye on as he continues to develop over the next three seasons.

Claiming the number three spot on my list of standouts is Kaden Mack Kaden Mack 6'0" | 160 lbs | QB State KY , a quarterback at DuPont Manual High School. In addition to arm strength and quick release, Mack impresses me with his accuracy in the air, proving he can connect with his receivers on deep passes. I also like how Mack can fake the handoff and punch into enemy territory himself.
