Jace is a tough, downhill running back who embodies a physical, no-nonsense style of play. Something you’d expect given his background. With his father having coached the Region 2 BOTR team, Mack clearly benefits from a demanding standard and disciplined approach, and it shows in how he runs between the tackles. He has great field vision, quickly identifying and attacking running lanes with decisiveness, allowing him to get north-south in a hurry. Mack doesn’t just grind out yards, he’s a legitimate big-play threat every time he touches the ball, capable of breaking through the second level and turning routine carries into explosive gains.

Doubling as an Indoor/Outdoor track kid, Mack is a slippery kid in space that can take it the distance if given even the slightest bit of day light. He gets the RB/ATH distinction because he’s a playmaker at WR and CB as well.

Mack has elite speed off the line and can get to full speed in just a few steps. If he catches a DB flat-footed, that rep is over. His straight-line speed is fantastic, and he can catch at full speed. He tore up multiple defenses up the seam and was almost always open in that area. He brings the ball in with ease and doesn’t have to slow up to catch it. He helped convert a handful of key 3rd downs and put the Dream Team in position to score when they would need it. They had a slow day 1, but came out on fire on day 2, and Mack was a part of the reason why.
