Ordaz had 60 tackles and a pair of interceptions for Servite as a sophomore.

He plays corner for the Friars and flies up the field to stop the run. As a pass defender, he has great timing while deflecting 50/50 balls and shows good instincts in zone coverage.

Ordaz has some circus-like interceptions on film but he also showed he knows how to tackle in the open field and can cover large chunks of the field.
