Back in October of last year, standout running back Stevie Davis Stevie Davis 5'7" | 175 lbs | RB La Salle College | 2024 State PA announced his commitment to UPenn Lacrosse. We like Davis enough to call him a top 300 prospect in his class, yet his skills as a LAX prospect outclasses what he provides LaSalle on the football field. That’s a big compliment.

LaSalle’s leading rusher, 600+ yards on the ground, will likely be back serving as the starter in the backfield next to Sidwar. I’m always unsure about prospects who commit to play at the college level at a different sport, this in terms of their role. Many seniors continue to play other sports, some coaches prefer they hold off. To my knowledge, Stevie Davis Stevie Davis 5'7" | 175 lbs | RB La Salle College | 2024 State PA will be back toting the rock. Three rushing touchdowns as well as a receiving score under his belt last Fall.

Every time I see Stevie Davis Stevie Davis 5'7" | 175 lbs | RB La Salle College | 2024 State PA live, or on tape, he’s busting a 60-70 yard run for a score. He went for a long score in this one as well. I’m hardly surprised when Darold Dengohe Darold Dengohe 6'3" | 280 lbs | DL La Salle College | 2023 State PA goes off for three sacks. Same goes for Stevie Davis Stevie Davis 5'7" | 175 lbs | RB La Salle College | 2024 State PA . The junior back is a home run hitter, which is surprising considering his short stride. His acceleration and vision outside the tackles are damn near elite. You need to account for this kid every time he touches the ball, regardless of who is at quarterback or this kid’s size. Don’t lose track or sight of him, he might be 50 yards downfield by the time you do.

The Explorers have explored various options at quarterback since Gavin Sidwar Gavin Sidwar 6'3" | 195 lbs | QB La Salle College | 2026 State PA went down with a collarbone injury. Excuse the pun. John McSorley John McSorley ATH State PA was tasked with operating the offense, something he did well last Saturday night. I’m unsure of McSorley’s experience level at QB or other positions for that matter, but my introduction to his game was a pleasant one. He made some smart decisions and delivered some accurate throws to Nole Henry and Ryan Sorge Ryan Sorge 6'3" | 195 lbs | WR La Salle College | 2023 State PA in this one. Tasked with a tough assignment, I can only imagine that the LaSalle coaching staff came away pleased with McSorley’s overall performance. Couldn’t have asked for more.
