If you’re looking for a breakout star in Class 5A this season, you might not need to look anywhere else. Senior wide receiver Santorrio Boykins has been a 2026 prospect that we’ve been intrigued by for a while now. He started his high school career at Edmond Memorial and last year, he moved over to Newcastle and has the potential to give the Racers that ultimate downfield threat in the passing game. We got a chance to watch Boykins in the Newcastle offense back in the spring. He is going to be a problem for opposing 5A defenses. He has all the tools to be a leading receiver and he has the size to be a match-up nightmare for most cornerbacks he lines up against.

Similar to Morgan and Parry earlier, Edmond Memorial wide receiver Santorrio Boykins Santorrio Boykins 6'3" | 180 lbs | WR/DB Newcastle | 2026 State OK is just waiting for his moment to have that breakout season under the bright lights of Friday nights. Boykins definitely looks the part of film and appears to have all the physical tools to be a legitimate weapon in Edmond Memorial’s passing attack. The Bulldogs are going to benefit from having one of the top quarterbacks in Class 6A-1 this season so having some playmakers at wide receiver is going to be critical. We still want to see what Boykins can do week to week at the varsity level but he definitely has the potential to be a breakout player for the Bulldogs this fall.

Our final prospect on this spotlight is Edmond Memorial’s Santorrio Boykins Santorrio Boykins 6'3" | 180 lbs | WR/DB Newcastle | 2026 State OK . It seems like the only thing missing from his game right now is real varsity experience. We put on some of his tape that he has available and it’s hard not to be impressed. He has size, skills and can do a lot of things incredibly well. We’re looking forward to Boykins hitting the varsity level because he certainly has the chance to be a breakout player for the Bulldogs when he steps into that new role in the fall. We know that Edmond Memorial’s coaches are very excited about the potential there with Boykins. And it’s easy to see why because there’s a lot to like about his game. But just like with every prospect on this list, it’s still very early in the process and there’s a lot of football in their futures.
