and we’re fired up to see what he ends up doing during his senior season. Housley finished his junior season with over 90 tackles on the season and finished with ten tackles behind the line of scrimmage. We went back and looked at some of our notes from around this time last season and we didn’t have anything on Housley heading into the 2025 season. So needless to say, he ended up being one of the bigger breakout stars for Newcastle, specifically on the defensive side of the ball. Now, he returns with Scagnetti to make one of the best 1-2 punches at the linebacker position that you’ll find in Class 5A.

is one of those players to watch this fall. He suffered a season-ending injury in week two and is ready to come back stronger than ever this fall. He’s listed as a wide receiver and linebacker but the Royals are as deep as you can be at wide receiver so the Royals will definitely need him to go to work on defense. It wouldn’t be surprising if Housley is in the race to be the team’s leading tackler this season. His ceiling as a defensive prospect is incredibly high and there is a lot of promise here.
