2032 QB RJ Perkins RJ Perkins QB/ATH Carrollton | 2032 GA immediately impressed at the quarterback position on Saturday, in his first few reps that we were able to see for Up Next. They brought two good QBs with them, who we’ll touch on in the coming days, but Perkins was one of the best gunslingers of pool play. He has a live arm for a smaller athlete right now, and has developed mechanics for his age in his upper and lower body that elevate him over many 12U quarterbacks. Perkins has a strong arm that was on display when pushing the ball downfield and in intermediate routes over the middle and to the sideline. He throws a very catchable ball and puts it where his receivers can easily make a play and in stride. Perkins also made several nice defensive plays and showed his young athletic versatility today.
