at the wide receiver position. And while Harris leads the team in receiving yards, it’s Smith that has the lead in receptions and receiving touchdowns this season. Although these two standouts are incredibly close in both categories. Smith has caught 14 touchdowns this season and is a big play waiting to happen in the Heritage Hall offense. While Harris is more productive on defense, don’t overlook what Smith can do on that side of the ball. But he’ll be at his best on Saturday at wide receiver.

at the wide receiver position to make plays. We first got a chance to see Smith in person last season and he had a strong performance in their win over Millwood. Smith is once again one of the top playmakers on the offensive side of the ball for the Chargers. But just like Harris, he’s turned around and been a ball hawk on the defensive side. This is a versatile player that can play a variety of positions on the football field. He’s also been a standout on the basketball floor. Needless to say, he’s a fantastic athlete.

had a fantastic start to his senior season on both sides of the ball. On offense, Smith finished with three catches for nearly 50 yards and a touchdown to kick off the second quarter. It was an outstanding catch in the back of the end zone that helped the Chargers put Millwood in a hole that they could not crawl out of. Smith also came up big earlier in the game on the defensive side of the ball with an interception that continued Millwood’s offensive woes. Smith appeared to come up banged up on that interception but he was able to return to the game and make that touchdown catch and several more big plays for Heritage Hall.

was the one player we weren’t familiar with on the gridiron. We’ve seen Smith play plenty of basketball but he ended up being one of Heritage Hall’s top wide receivers, along with Walker. Smith would finish with five catches for 56 yards and a touchdown. He also had several other big plays that got wiped away because of a penalty. Smith is definitely a playmaker to watch within this Heritage Hall offense. We’re basing this breakdown on just one game and there’s so much that can happen over the next few months. But Smith looks like he’s primed to be a breakout player within the Charger offense. If Heritage hall continues to use him as much as they did on Thursday night, he will put up some serious numbers by the end of the season. He also gives them another player that can make plays and is reliable on the offensive side of the ball.
