Reynoso was the heartbeat of Centennial’s offense, the guy who kept them swinging long after most backs would’ve worn down. He was the reason they grabbed that second‑quarter lead and the reason they stayed in it as long as they did. Rushing for 201 yards in a state championship game says everything about both his talent and the trust this staff had in him. He ran with purpose all night — patient when he needed to be, explosive when the crease opened, and relentless through contact. Those four‑yard gains that turned into eight weren’t by accident; he was refusing to let the first defender end the play. It felt like every meaningful drive Centennial put together ran straight through him, and he answered every time. He did everything he could to drag his team toward a championship in his final high school game. Still, this was the kind of performance that sticks with people — a senior emptying the tank on the biggest stage and reminding everyone why he was one of the most dependable backs in the state.

He powered 21 carries for 222 yards on the ground and added three receptions for 42 yards through the air, showcasing his dual-threat ability and dominance in both facets of the offense. Career day for the RB.

Reynoso made a big jump in the rankings after making the most of his increased opportunities as a junior racking up almost 1,000 scrimmage yards and 11 total touchdowns. As a ball carrier, he presses the line quickly with a great ability to use his jump cut to make the first guy miss at the LOS. Flashes plus change of direction and short area burst to avoid contact and get to space. Like his versatility as a running back that can pick up tough yardage between the tackles, turn the corner to the outside, or catch the ball out of the backfield. Runs with good pad level and leverage to initiate contact while maintaining strong leg drive and forward momentum. Split carries throughout the season but was an impact player on Centennial’s run to the 6A state title. Jumped 27 spots to #67 overall and the fifth ranked RB in the 2026 class.

broke out for his best game of the year on Friday in a close game against Pinnacle. Rushing for a season-high 156 yards and getting his first multi-touchdown game of the year, he’s a huge reason Centennial’s offense was able to build up a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter — though they, unfortunately, weren’t able to hold onto it. Reynoso averaged a whopping nine yards a carry throughout the game and his quick feet and impressive vision made him nearly impossible to bring down behind the line. I’d expect more of these types of performances from the junior running back moving forward.

Ownen Reynoso has been the definition of a workhorse back for Centennial’s offense. Going up against some of the top front-7’s in the state, he’s consistently hitting his lanes and always making it hard for the defense to bring him down. Always running incredibly hard, Reynoso packs wuite a punch in his 5’8″ 180 lb frame and has no trouble running through defenders that have the clear size advantage. His impressive speed only adds to his threat level, allowing him to break away on big runs when he finds an opening. Reynoso’s combination of power and quickness makes him a constant challenge for any defense.

has an incredibly versatile skillset in the backfield for Centennial. Listed at 5’8” and 170 lbs, he has a solid base that gives him plenty of power. He does a great job of using that power to protect his quarterback when he doesn’t get the ball. Even against the edge rushers with a clear size advantage, there never seems to be any hesitation to put his body on the line. Reynoso shows an impressive burst once he reaches the second level. Effortlessly able to kick it into another gear and use that power to break through arm tackles. For a running back with an incredibly physical play style, he still has the agility to make defenders look foolish in open space. It doesn’t matter if it’s behind the line of scrimmage or 30 yards down the field; Reynoso can take anyone’s ankles. With reliable hands out of the backfield, he truly can do it all. Finishing the year with three trips to the endzone, Reynoso got some valuable experience and should become a big part of the Centennial offense this fall.

Reynoso is a complete back with a wide skillset to be effective as both a ball carrier and receiver. At 5’8” 180 lbs. he runs hard between the tackles while possessing the speed to turn the corner to the outside and break away from defenders. He’s got quick feet with good lateral agility and acceleration in the short area and out of his cuts. Elusive in the open field but also does a great job making guys miss in tight spaces at the first level. Flashes strong ball carrier instincts and patience to allow the play and his blocks to develop. Not the biggest back but he’s slippery and tough to wrap up as he absorbs contact while maintaining forward momentum. Moved up from the watchlist to the rankings where we expect him to keep climbing as he develops and sees more opportunities in one of the top programs in the state.
