is a small, yet explosive two-way player for Pike Road who projects long-term as a WR. He is explosive out of his stance, eliminating cushion and getting up on second-level defenders quickly. He has quick feet, which helps him deceive and separate at the top of his routes when you combine his footwork with his explosiveness. He is quick in the open field and does a good job staying vertical to take the yards available. He maximizes his catch radius by proving capable of altering his body to make unique catches and even pulling a ball in through traffic. Smith has an offer from UAB and is sure to add more this offseason.

is a super quick wide receiver out of Pike Road that’s been able to make a ton of big plays in their passing attack. Smith is a smaller wide receiver that provides a terrific deep threat for their offense. He has a tremendous amount of speed and acceleration that allow him to both quickly beat defenders downfield and cause a ton of damage after the catch with how elusive and shifty he is. Smith had a really productive sophomore season last fall where he really developed great chemistry with his quarterback Cason Meyers. It’s been really exciting watching Smith’s development over the last few years, and teams at the next level are starting to notice his potential. In the last few months, Smith has racked up offers from from Appalachian State and UAB. Keep an eye on him going forward, we could definitely see that list grow some more!

Smith is explosive off the line of scrimmage and shows twitchy moves out of his break to create separation from defensive backs. Smith also is a threat to beat coverage deep by using his speed on verticals, while his quickness out of his breaks makes him a dangerous route-runner who will get open. Smith tracks the ball well and shows impressive concentration to lock in receptions even with defenders bearing down on him, despite the potential to take huge hits.
