Coleman doesn’t have much recruiting buzz around his name, but there is plenty here for college coaches to rein in. He is a long, cut athlete who holds his weight well. A true prototype EDGE from a physique standpoint, with the raw blend of athleticism to get fired up about. He is quick off the line and uses his length to keep his chest clean and create extension against blockers. He is a patient player who doesn’t get lost in the shuffle trying to do too much, and it helps that he is a functional athlete to get after the football. If he can show off a little more juice this fall, that would do wonders for his recruitment.

“Coleman is an impressive pass rusher who dominates offensive lines with his quick first step, violent, active hands, and a wide variety of effective rush moves. It looks so easy for Coleman to get into the backfield- he’s constantly racking up pressures, QB hits, and sacks.

On top of that, Coleman is a really impressive run defender as well. He can set the edge, hold his ground, and fight off blockers to get to the ball carrier. It’s really impressive watching how physical and aggressive he is up front. He’ll do whatever it takes to come up with stops, which makes him an every-down threat to opposing offenses.”

Coleman has a lot of skill and potential and is primed for a huge final season on Pike Road’s defensive line this upcoming season. I can’t wait to see how he does.
