A while back, Jones committed to Ole Miss! Jones is a talented player everyone should have their eyes on going into this fall- he’s got a bright future ahead of him.

Last fall, Jones racked up 260 carries for 1443 yards and 17 TDs on the ground.

Even as a Mississippi State fan I don’t think there was a better place for Jones to land, he’s going to be a huge piece of their rushing attack early on and will be set up for tons of success- just watch.

Jones has some terrific speed and acceleration and uses it in a lot of great ways as a ball carrier and receiver. When carrying the ball, Jones has an explosive burst out of the backfield that lets him quickly reach his top speed and leave defenders in the dust- when you pair that with his elusiveness and change of direction, he’s truly impossible to stop in the open field.  In addition to his skills as a ball carrier, Jones has reliable hands and can get open in the passing game to make a lot of plays as well. All of these traits showed up on tape last fall as Jones had a fantastic season for his team’s offense- he ended the year with 215 carries for 1166 yards and 19 touchdowns on the ground and 22 receptions for 210 yards and one touchdown as well. With how well he has played the last two years, Jones has been highly recruited,  picking up offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, and more!
