Expert Analysis
Matt Tate | Prep Redzone Scout
Anacleto is an exciting prospect coming out of Ponderosa. He measures in at 6’3 195-pounds. He threw 124/203 for 1771 yards, 61% completion rate, 18 TDS, 3 INT, with 1 rushing touchdown. He’s another pocket passing quarterback. Anacleto has very good throw power with a fluid release. He has consistent throwing motion with no wasted movement. Anacleto has very good ball placement skills. Anacleto throws it in stride of the receiver, or he’ll throw it above the WR & DB allowing his man to make a contested catch. Very good pocket presence. He uses his shifty feet to maneuver the pocket, and make defenders miss. He stays poised under pressure and uses his very good progression speed to fin the open man. I’m very excited to see how he continues, and he should already be on some college boards.

Anacleto measures in at 6’3 195-pounds. He went 124/203 for 1771 yards, 61.1% completion rate, 18 TDs, 3 INT, and 1 rushing touchdown. Anacleto is a pocket passer but has good athletic ability due gain yards on the ground. Very good throw power paired with a smooth release that has zero wasted motion. Very good ball placement skills to find his receiver out in stride. Anacleto looks like a polished passer out there. Very good pocket presence. Very good pocket mobility. He’ll step up in the pocket to evade pressure and find his man downfield. Poised under pressure, always keeping his eyes downfield. Another thing of note is Anacleto will motion wideouts to get open after the snap during the scramble drill. I love his film and can’t wait to see more.

Anacleto is quickly making his case as one of the top pocket passers in 4A. Completing 62% of his throws for 1,083 yards and 11 touchdowns with only two interceptions, Anacleto has shown tremendous poise and accuracy. His ability to stay calm under pressure and deliver tight window throws has drawn attention from college scouts. While he doesn’t run often, he’s shown he can make plays with his legs when needed, adding a rushing touchdown to his stat line. What sets Anacleto apart is his size, arm talent and mechanics, traits that translate well to the next level. As his confidence grows, expect him to continue putting up strong performances and solidifying himself as one of Colorado’s premier quarterback prospects.
