He had 13 receptions for 331 yards with 6 touchdowns, 5 total tackles (all solo), 10 punts for 392 yards, getting it inside the 20, 4 times. He has good athletic ability due to his good jumping, acceleration, speed, and change of direction. Big body receiver that does well with contested catches. Demonstrates good release at the line of scrimmage. Fights off the press jam and physicality to get open. Good separation quickness. Very good ball adjustment and body control. Like I said earlier, he does a great job on contested catches and high pointing the ball. Good ball tracking and catching. He’s an intriguing receiving option that makes the most out of his opportunities.

Caracostas delivered an explosive performance Saturday, finishing with three receptions for 114 yards and two touchdowns. His 93 yard touchdown reception highlighted his big play ability, as he caught an in cutting route, broke the initial tackle and quickly accelerated away from defenders for the score. Caracostas showed strong hands throughout the game and demonstrated his ability to create separation with his crisp route running. His speed gives him the potential to turn limited opportunities into game changing plays, making him a dangerous weapon for the offense. The performance provides a strong foundation for the season, and continued production could help him gain significant attention making him a receiver scouts need to know.

Caracostas plays with discipline and toughness, setting the edge with consistency and forcing runners back inside. He’s quick to disengage from blocks and he is a solid tackler in open space, bringing the ball carrier down in a hurry. In coverage, he reads quarterbacks well and gets to his landmarks efficiently. After a quieter season last year, he’s focused on a bounce back campaign and has all the tools to be a major contributor this fall.
