To wrap up our top five defensive backs in the class of 2028 in the state of Kentucky, I have

. Neo lines up at safety where he is very impressive against the run. Once he sees where the ball is going, Davis-Jones explodes out of his stance to fill the lane with a sense of urgency. He is a very reliable open field tackler once he gets to the ball carrier, finishing this past season with 60 tackles and four tackles for loss in 14 games. Neo is also very dependable in coverage, recording one interception and five pass breakups as a sophomore. Davis-Jones has received some college interest and I expect his recruitment to continue to heat up this summer.

jumped onto our radar with a very strong sophomore season. He lined up at safety where he was very impressive against the run. Davis-Jones does an outstanding job of reading the play quickly then coming downhill to fill the lane with a sense of urgency. Once he gets to the ball carrier, he is a very reliable tackler, finishing this season with 58 tackles and four tackles for loss in 14 games. He also impressed in coverage, coming away with one interception this year. Neo is a player who deserves some attention from college coaches this offseason.

supplies major production from the backfield, Davis-Jones is a weapon all over the field. As a wide receiver it’s not out of the norm to see him get the ball on jet sweeps or other plays designed to let him work in space. Watching some early film from this season, the 6-foot, 165-pounder also dishes out punishment as a blocker, too. Flipping to the defensive side of the ball, he plays an aggressive style of outside linebacker who has no problem picking off poorly thrown passes. It wouldn’t shock me to see him move back to safety or a nickel at some point in his career.
