Powell is a dynamic back who shows a lot of promise with the ball in his hands. He has good vision and does a nice job identifying lanes as they develop. His cuts are sharp and decisive, allowing him to get through tight spaces and maximize runs. He also has a quick change of direction and can get around the corner when defenders lose leverage. The shiftiness stands out, and he’s the type of runner who can make the first defender miss in space. I think there’s a lot of untapped potential here, and he’s a player who could take a significant step forward this fall.
