Jointer is an athletic wide receiver with a high catch radius, showing the ability to attack passes at their highest point and bring in catches away from his body with ease, regardless of what type of coverage is around him. He has also shown the ability to use his speed to create separation and pick up yards after the catch. Jointer will most likely play basketball at the next level as he has received multiple Division I offers but he has also picked up a football offer from Morehead State and has the talent to be a college receiver if he were to choose to pursue that route.

Last season, he caught 50 passes for 895 yards and 15 touchdowns to go with an explosive 17.9 yards per catch. Jointer is also a highly-touted basketball player in his class across the Commonwealth. He’s up to 6-foot-2 and 190 now, according to his Hudl.

What impresses me about Jointer is his ability to escape the defense from along the edge, proving he can both haul in the short pass and punch into the backfield with limited running room. I also like Jointer’s ability to be durable in the pocket, proving he can utilize his strength to shake tackles and march forward.

He finished this past season with 14 receptions for 236 yards and two touchdowns in nine games. Jointer lines up on the outside where he is an impressive route runner, using smooth breaks in his routes to create separation. He is also dangerous after the catch, showing the speed to turn up the field to pick up extra yards. Omari is also a very reliable blocker, showing the ability to pick up blocks in open space and drive his man out of the picture. Jointer doesn’t currently hold any offers but is a player to keep an eye on over the next three seasons.
