climbed up our rankings with a strong junior year. Holman lines up at strong safety where he has proven to be very effective against the run. He does a great job of reading the play quickly then coming downhill to fill the lane with a sense of urgency to get to the ball carrier. Once he gets to the ball carrier, Jordan explodes through contact and finishes his tackles with a ton of physicality. As a junior, Holman led his team with 77.5 tackles in 14 games along with eight tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks. He has also shown the ability to line up in the nickel and play man coverage against slot receivers, using his speed to mirror their routes then showing the awareness to break on the ball with perfect timing to break up the pass. Jordan currently holds offers from Missouri, Kentucky, Miami (OH), and Toledo, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see more come his way soon.

is a high-caliber player that I’m excited to see at Sunday’s camp. Holman plays strong safety where he is very reliable in coverage. He does a great job of reading the quarterback and flowing through coverage to put himself in position to make a play. When the ball is thrown his way, he shows impressive ball skills, coming away with one interception this past season. Holman currently holds offers from Kentucky and Toledo and I expect more to come his way as he continues to develop.

caught my attention this past offseason and continued to stand out during his sophomore season. Holman was only able to play in six games but was impressive when on the field. On defense, Holman lined up at strong safety where he showed the ability to come downhill and provide support against the run. He finished this past season with 19 tackles and one tackle for loss. Jordan also proved to be reliable in coverage, flowing through coverage to put himself in a position to make a play, finishing his sophomore year with one interception. Holman has also shown the ability to pose as a deep threat at receiver on offense. Jordan currently holds offers from Kentucky and Toledo, and I expect more to come his way as he continues to develop.

is a player who caught my attention when breaking down freshman year film. He is a skilled route runner on the outside, showing the ability to use smooth breaks in his routes to create separation. After the catch, he has shown the speed and elusiveness in the open field to pick up extra yards. Holman currently holds an offer from Kentucky and I expect more to come his way as he will look to be in a bigger role after transferring from Trinity to Woodford County for his sophomore year.

The final wide receiver in the state of Kentucky that I expect to have a breakout season this year is

. Holman is a long, athletic receiver that has shown the versatility to play on both the outside and in the slot. He is a smooth route runner, using the breaks in his routes to create separation with ease. Holman also has very reliable hands, showing the ability to haul in passes away from his body with ease. Jordan recently picked up his first offer from Kentucky and I expect a lot of eyes to be on him after transferring from Trinity to Woodford County for his sophomore year.

A versatile athlete sniffing 6’3 who loves to compete. Jordan displays efficient releases off the line that gets his shoulders upfield in a few steps. I can see him developing into a big body possession wideout that will give you yards after the catch on quick hitting throws. He also embraces physicality throughout the route when he leans on cover corners to bait them before snapping off into a break before making a catch. I believe he has all the tangibles to be the number one option in the passing game.

is an absolute unit when throwing down opposing players BOTH on offense and defense. Although he is a fantastic player to watch as a primary wide receiver, his defensive skills are extraordinary as he has the speed of a defensive end and the strength of a heavy defensive lineman. He is currently listed as an “Athlete” since he has not determined a designated defensive position, but I believe he can develop into either an outside linebacker or defensive end. Jordan bulldozes opposing blockers with his superb strength and uses his lateral quickness to accelerate faster than most players to reach the quarterback. I expect Jordan to develop into a top player in the state of Kentucky, as he will already be attending Trinity High School, a powerhouse for high school football development. It is just hard to say what his primary positions will be, but the defensive talent is already there to wreak havoc on varsity-level players.

When it comes to Holman, potential is the name of the game. At 6-foot-1 and 175-pounds he is nowhere close to even scratching the ceiling of how good he could become. Currently listed as an Athlete because of his impressive size, I think he could become an outstanding Outside Linebacker if the development continues. Or, if he continues to get bigger and thicker, he could line up as a Defensive End…development and growth will dictate where he goes. He played last season with one of the best youth teams in the state, the Louisville Chargers. This summer was a prospect that our scouts liked and turned more than a couple heads on the Kentucky Future Stars team. This season he will be playing for Leestown Middle School Chargers and if all goes to plan, there could be more than a few private schools with an interest in Holman.
