Morris is one of our favorite backs in the state, and he does almost everything well. He doesn’t have one elite trait, but he’s good-to-great at everything he does, from speed to vision to a great initial burst off the line. He’s always been a consistent back, but he’s already set a career-high in touchdowns and is on pace to pass last year’s 1,000-yard season in the next game or two.

Mozes Morris Mozes Morris 5'11" | 200 lbs | RB/ATH West Forsyth | 2026 State NC (RB, West Forsyth, Senior) was nothing short of dynamic in his team’s narrow 30-36 overtime loss to Richmond County. Morris carried the offense on his back, finishing with 25 carries for 215 yards and 3 touchdowns, showing both power between the tackles and explosiveness in the open field. Even in defeat, he was the best player on the field at times, keeping West Forsyth in the fight until the final whistle and proving why he’s one of the region’s most reliable senior backs.

Morris has gotten better and better as a runner each year, despite having similar opportunities. He’s not a workhorse, but he’s a home run hitter and he can take it to the house at any moment. He keeps his feet moving and flashes runs where he not only breaks multiple tackles, but gains significant yardage after contact. If he finds space, he’s tough to stop.
