PJ recently committed to play college football at Georgia at the end of June, so congratulations to PJ on that big decision! PJ has had an interesting career, transitioning from primarily an offensive line prospect to a talented defensive line prospect, transforming his body and putting the work in to show he can be even more dominant on that side of the football. Defensively, I love PJ’s violent hands at the snap and the power he gets off the football with. Those traits are also seen in his offensive highlights, but PJ shows an elite ability to bullrush and has shown the ability to split double teams on the interior with ease. It will be fun to watch him and the Titans defensively this year.

Dean’s transition from offensive to defensive line probably didn’t do much to move his recruiting stock, but I think it certainly affects his upside. It’s an interesting case in that he doesn’t have a ton of film on the defensive side of the ball, but the raw athletic traits are enough already to dominate in several offseason camps. Whichever defensive line coach gets him has a supremely athletic piece of clay to mold. Don’t be surprised if he’s a household name in college.

Dean went from a guy I was lower on than most to a guy I quickly became higher on that most through a simple position change. His body never really developed the way many thought it would and he went from an undersized offensive lineman to a speed-rushing defensive tackle with massive upside. He’s just learning the position and already dominating top defensive linemen at national camps. He could continue to climb our rankings.
