Morales is one of a couple of rising sophomore signal-callers who impressed me at our Prep Redzone Exposure Camp. While Morales’ movement and fast times surprised me, I was more impressed with his obvious progress as a passer. At camp, I saw a guy who had clearly improved from just a few short months before, and if he continues that upward trajectory, this won’t be his last time on a stock-riser list.

Morales sat behind one of the area’s best quarterbacks last season, but the coaching staff did a great job of giving him some run with the varsity squad, including an extended outing against Northwest Guilford, when he threw for 114 yards. He has a quick release and looked comfortable, even as a freshman.

Morales was the primary backup for a strong senior signal-caller in 2025, and he’s the favorite to take over as a sophomore. The early signs look promising, too, as he completed 65% of his attempts and delivered with timing and accuracy. It’s a small sample size, but the touch, decision-making, and confidence suggest there’s plenty to come from the freshman.

After finishing 4-4 a year ago, North Davie got busy against Southeast, defeating them soundly by the final score of 38-6. While he had plenty of help around him, Levi Morales Levi Morales 6'2" | 167 lbs | QB West Forsyth | 2029 State NC did his part.
