The Neumann-Goretti quarterback was arguably the top performer of the entire camp and was very impressive. Here’s what lead scout Vic Castillo Vic Castillo RB PA had to say about Wharton’s performance at the camp;

A walk-up I recommended to participate. Has attended our camps in the past, I’ve been pounding the table for Wharton since his sophomore year. Bit surreal to see him work up close as a senior now. Was the consensus pick for the best performance among QBs. Had the camp buzzing a bit, a lot of “who’s this” comments, despite my consistent clamoring in the young man’s favor. Smooth operator as usual. An experienced and seasoned passer whose performance was a pleasure to watch on Friday night.
