Continue ReadingBrad Birch Brad Birch 6’0″ | 190 lbs | QB Gateway | 2024 State PA is a legit quarterback prospect. He shows off a good arm and knows exactly where he wants to put the ball. He throws a beautiful deep ball. He knows how to put a touch on the ball. Birch is not afraid to rip the ball in tight windows. He has improved greatly as a pocket passer at reading the defense and making plays downfield. Birch is also a good athlete who can scramble around and make plays. Birch’s biggest issue is his size since he is only 6 feet tall. Birch is a talented quarterback who should have a chance at playing college football.
Mekhi Wharton Mekhi Wharton 6’5″ | 215 lbs | QB Neumann-Goretti | 2024 State PA is a big quarterback prospect who is comfortable in both running the ball and throwing it. He shows off a strong arm that he can make difficult throws. He is exceptional on the deep ball, corner routes, and out routes. He struggles with intermediate throws that take more accuracy, but this is something he can improve on. He is good in the run game and teams can use him on the zone read rushing plays by reading the defensive end. Wharton is someone who should have a good chance at playing College Football.

Marcus Quaker Marcus Quaker 5’11” | 170 lbs | QB West Perry | 2024 State PA is a true dual threat quarterback. He is really good in the QB-designed run game. He does a good job on QB power, zone read, and veer option plays. He is a good athlete playing quarterback. He is very good at sprint-out game where he can sprint out and throw on the run. Quaker is good at scrambling around and making plays all over the field. Quaker recently picked up an offer from Mansfield for football and track. He should have different options to play football.

Daniel Darno Daniel Darno 6’3″ | 205 lbs | QB Notre Dame Green Pond | 2024 State PA had a really good year for Notre Dame Green Pond. Darno is equally as good at running zone reading and running the ball as he is sitting in the pocket and throwing the ball. For the run game, he does a nice job of pulling the pull on zone read and hitting the seam for big runs. He is also a physical runner who is hard to bring down. In the pocket, he really stands tall and moves his feet well. He has an accurate arm and he knows where he wants to put the ball when he is ready to throw it. He recently visited Muhlenberg University. I can see other Division 3 and possibly Division 2 programs being interested.
Highlights
Logan Kuchner is a classic pocket quarterback who can also used in the run game. In the pocket, he has quiet feet, most of the time his feet are always steady and aligned where he wants to throw the ball. He has a quick release and does a nice job of knowing when to get rid of the ball. He is very good with pre-snap reads and seems to know exactly where the best match-up is. In the run game, he is good with running the ball on designed runs and can scramble to make plays. He recently picked up offers from Robert Morris and Valparaiso University. Kuchner will have some good choices to pick from.
Brody Evans Brody Evans 6’3″ | 190 lbs | QB Thomas Jefferson | 2024 State PA is a throwback quaterback that is perfectly content to sit in the pocket and pick a part of a defense. He does a nice job of hanging in there against pressure and knows exactly where he wants to go with the ball. He does a great job identifying a match-up and looking for the best opportunity to throw the ball. Evans looks like a Division 3 Prospect, that should get some serious attention.

Na’Rome Rayborn Na’Rome Rayborn 6’1″ | 190 lbs | QB Episcopal Academy | 2024 State PA is a playmaker at quarterback who got hurt this year, so it has hampered his development. He is electric with the ball in his hands and when he takes off running. He is excellent in quarterback run games. Either QB power or in-zone read run game. He is elusive and tough to bring down. He also has legit speed. Throwing the ball he throws a solid ball, and does a nice job on his 1st read, but can struggle afterward. If a college is a run-heavy scheme he is a perfect fit. Throwing the ball and making the reads he can get better, but an electric runner like him can be special. The other thing is if it does not work out at quarterback he can be moved to another position because he is such a good athlete.
Highlights
Derek Burk Derek Burk 6’0″ | 190 lbs | QB Deer Lakes | 2024 State PA is a good quaterback that is most comfortable in the pocket throwing the ball. He is very good at getting rid of the ball on time and knows exactly where he wants to put the ball. Burk throws with anticipation very well. Burk also has good mobility. He does a nice job of keeping the play alive and is always looking downfield for a player to get open. Burk recently visited Wheeling University and I can see other Division 2 schools show interest as well.
Jonathan Ingram Jonathan Ingram 6’1″ | 175 lbs | QB Cheltenham | 2024 State PA is an electric athlete. Every time he touches the ball he can take it to the house. That is why he is such a difficult quaterback to stop. You have to stop him as a passer and a runner. In the run game, he is good at both scrambling and designed runs. As a passer, he can be up and down, but he has all the tools. He throws a great deep ball and puts a good touch on the ball. For short intermediate throws he can struggle sometimes when he does not set his feet. Ingram is a great athlete and if he does not play quarterback in College he could easily transition to a skill position.
Mike Evans Mike Evans 6’1″ | 210 lbs | QB Canon-McMillan | 2024 State PA is a classic drop back quaterback that is 100% comfortable sitting in the pocket and picking a part a defense. The left hander is a machine back in the pocket. He does a grest job of reading, surveying and finding open receivers. He has a good arm and really shows it off on fade balls when he throws a good deep ball. Evans will not be a running threat, but if a College prefers a pocket quarterback who can sling the ball around Evans is a good fit.
Tyler Gee Tyler Gee 6’0″ | 185 lbs | QB Loyalsock Township | 2024 State PA is a good athlete who plays quarterback. He is good in the pocket and shows off a quick and accurate delivery of the football. He especially does a good job on fade routes as he is able to put good touch on the ball. Gee is also a good runner. He does a good job in designed run plays where he is a good athlete and also runs by defenders. Gee recently got a PrePreferredlk-On offer from Saint Francis and an offer from Robert Morris. Gee should have more opportunities as well.

Zac Hahn Zac Hahn 6’0″ | 190 lbs | QB Manheim Central | 2024 State PA is a gun slinger at quaterback. He does a good job of making plays for his team in the passing game. That could be with sitting in a pocket and delivering a pass or scrambling around to find people open. Hahn is good at both of them. He throws a good ball, especially deep balls. Hahn is a strong tough kid and rarely does the 1st defender bring him down. Hahn had two great seasons. He recently got an offer from East Stroudsburg and I expect more Division 2 programs to offer him.
