The tall and lengthy Quakertown offensive lineman is a bit raw as a prospect and patience will be needed but there is plenty to work with when it comes the 6-foot-6, 290-pound offensive lineman. In the last few days, he’s picked up offers from Eastern University and Wheeling.
We’ve already talked about Mateo a few times but this 2024 wide receiver is an elite prospect in the recruiting cycle and had FBS interests. He has good size at 5-foot-11, tested very well with a 4.56 forty-yard dash and is explosive. On the field, he’s highly productive, a quality route runner, and has great ball skills. He’s going to be a huge steal for someone late in this cycle.
Highlights
The Neumann-Goretti quarterback was arguably the top performer of the entire camp and was very impressive. Here’s what lead scout Vic Castillo Vic Castillo RB PA had to say about Wharton’s performance at the camp;

A walk-up I recommended to participate. Has attended our camps in the past, I’ve been pounding the table for Wharton since his sophomore year. Bit surreal to see him work up close as a senior now. Was the consensus pick for the best performance among QBs. Had the camp buzzing a bit, a lot of “who’s this” comments, despite my consistent clamoring in the young man’s favor. Smooth operator as usual. An experienced and seasoned passer whose performance was a pleasure to watch on Friday night.

A key part of Steelton Highspire’s defensive line, Bennett is a quality prospect who is well deserving of more looks from colleges. While he may be slightly undersized right now, Bennett shows good speed and strength on a regular basis and was productive on the field in the middle of a talented Steelton-Highspire defense. Does hold an offer from Alvernia currently.
The senior running back from Middletown Area is on the smaller side but is a phenomenal athlete. The first clip of his highlight video shows off that athleticism and speed as he runs all the way across the field to track down a wide receiver in the open field to save a touchdown. As a ball carrier, he’s elusive and agile and can be slippery, a nightmare for opposing defenders to tackle. Big time play maker who could be a nice pickup for someone late this cycle.
